NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
NEET 2016 has been successfully conducted on July 24, 2016. As per the statistics around 4.7 lakhs candidates wrote the exam. The Exam pattern was same as that of AIPMT(Phase-1). The joint Results for both Phase-1 and Phase-2 will be declared on August 17, 2017. CBSE will also release unofficial answer key on August 7, 2016. Mean while candidates can check live solution along with answer key as provided below.

NEET 2016 Phase-1 was conducted on May 1, 2016. Nearly 20, 000 candidates appeared for the exam. However many candidates felt that due to the confusion about the counduction of exam they could not attempt well. So, it was decided that NEET Phase-2 will be open for all the candidates fulfilling the following criteria :-

Post declaration of results NEET 2016 Counselling Procedure will begin. Counselling will be conducted separately to fulfill 15% All India Quota Seats and rest of the seats. CBSE will release merit list of the candidates for providing admission.

A total of 45 questions were asked in the section out of which major problems were of easy level with questions ranging from topics like Mechanics, Electrodynamics and Modern & Electronics. Moderate level of questions from Electrodynamics, Optics and Mechanics were also asked and candidates were expected to solve them in minimal time. Candidates had to face only few difficult questions from Electrodynamics and Modern & Electronics and with decent preparation, aspirant could have scored well in the paper.

Following the examination pattern of Physics, Most of questions asked in Chemistry were of easy level. The majority of question were asked from Organic Chemistry to test candidates’ knowledge about intricacies of Carbon and its tetravalency. The Second most frequent section in the paper was Physical Chemistry and candidates were tested of their analytical and arithematical ability. A good share of problems were asked from XI and XII and candidates with balanced study programmes could score decent marks very easily.

Biology is considered the most important section of any medical entrance exam as it is one of the major deciding section of the paper. NEET 2016 Biolgy paper was constructed to test candidates’ ability to understand the concepts and principles of Biology there are.
Questions in Botany had a fair share of easy, moderate and difficult questions. The frequently asked topics were Plant Kingdom, their Cell Biology, Cell Physiology and Genetics & Biotechnology. A total of 13 questions were asked from Genetics making it the most important section for the following year thereon. Candidates were expected to solve the questions in minimum time to save the rest for the left overs.

The Most easy section in terms of level of questions was Zoology. The majority of question asked were of easy level and candidates with moderate level of preparation could have scored very well in the section. The most visited section in Zoology was Human Physiology and candidates were tested through multiple choice questions about their knowledge of Human Physiology.
