NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
Admission to various Law Colleges in Maharashtra through MH CET Law 2016 Counselling has been delayed. The delay occurredbecause presently a full and final approved list of the Law colleges in Maharashtra is yet to be received by the State Common Entrance Test Cell. It is said that the rest of the colleges are likely to be considered for Approval or Provisional Approval in the meeting scheduled to be held on August 20, 2016 (Saturday).

MH CET Law 2016 is an entrance exam for the aspiring candidates who seek to get admission in various Law Colleges in the Maharashtra state. It is an online state level exam conducted by Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Maharashtra. The MH CET 2016 was held earlier this year in the month June for five-year and three-year integrated programme respectively. And the results for the same were announced later in the month of June itself.
After the meeting that is to be held on August 20, 2016 the final status for the colleges will be known to the MH CET Law 2016 candidates. Unless the full and final confirmation list of the Participating Law Colleges under MH CET 2016 in Maharashtra is received by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, the Option Form Filling Process cannot be initiated. Hence, till further notification, the Online Form filling and Form Editing Link will continue to operative till Saturday the 20th August 2016. Any change in schedule will be communicated by separate Notice and will be posted on http://dhe.mhpravesh.in. The revised schedule will be uploaded on the website http://dhe.mhpravesh.in. in due course.
The MH CET Law 2016 Counselling Process was scheduled Online from August 2, 2016 through centralized Admission Process (CAP). The Eligible candidates are first required to get themselves registered online for MH CET Law 2016 Counselling and Seat Allotment Process.
Currently the status for the interested candidates who are wanting to fill in the CAP Form/ Option Form for Centralized Admission Process for LL. B- 5 and LL. B- 3 Year courses are informed that the process has been stopped for a while. Even though the Bar Council of India (BCI, a Statutory Body Constituted Under the Advocates Act, 1961) has submitted a list of 63 colleges which are duly approved by them along withtheir letter No. BCI: D1290:2016(LE/MS/CET/ 17th August 2016.
