STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
Admission to many Health Science Courses (except Medical/Dental) through the MHT-CET 2016 got delayed in the 1st Round Part 1 held in the month of July. This delay occurred because the Central Council and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik did not receive the affiliation of various colleges on time. The process has been put on hold until further notice from the Governing Bodies.

The MaharashtraHealth and Technical Common Entrance Test 2016 (MHT-CET 2016) is conducted by The Government of Maharashtra. MHT-CET is a State level common entrance exam, which happens every year.The aspirants and their parents should keep their calm and not panic, as the admission process will soon commence. Also, they should constantly check the MHT-CET 2016 official website to keep themselves updated. Till then the aspirants can prepare themselves beforehand with the MHT-CET 2016 Mandatory Documents at the time of counselling.

This is an exam for the candidates who wish to take admission into various Health Science, Engineering & Technology and Pharmacy courses across the state of Maharashtra.

The counselling process is conducted through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra State. The candidates are supposed to fill in online application form of CAP for further admissions and MHT CET 2016 Seat Allotment. The students should go through the steps that are involved in registering properly. The CAP process involves registration, necessary documents verification, seat selection and allocation of seat.
For the aspirant to be ready before the counselling commences, it is important for them to know about the MHT CET 2016 Necessary Documents Required.

Mentioned below are the necessary documents that a candidate needs to carry at the time of their counselling and seat allotment:
The candidate should have a valid ID (Identification Proof) with a Photo of them on it. For example, Voter’s ID card, Adhaar Card etc.
The candidates should also have a copy of the application form. One can obtain the same by downloading it and then printing it from the official website.
The shortlisted students should also carry a photocopy of their Admit Card to the venue.
The candidate also needs to carry a photocopy of their downloaded MHT-CET 2016 scorecard. This is also available on the official website.
The students should also carry their nationality certificate like a copy of their passport to state their Nationality.
A copy of the Domicile Certificate proving they are a resident of Maharashtra.
The candidates should carry their HSC and SSC mark sheets as well as the school leaving certificate to the venue.
The students need to provide a medical fitness certificate in the format that is provided in the MHT-CET 2016 Brochure to the authorities.
If a candidate belongs to a special category (SC/ST/OBC), they need to provide a certificate for the same. It should be with a non- creamy layer certificate.
Note: The candidate should make sure that they carry all the documents in original as well as carry at least 2 sets of photocopies of the same. The original documents will be returned to the candidate at the same time once the authenticity of the copies is verified. Also, if the candidate is short of any document then there is a possibility that he/ she may be denied the claimed seat.
The candidate should also know that at the time of counselling only one parent is allowed inside the hall.
