STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
MHT CET 2017 registration commenced on February 14, 2017 and will end on March 22, 2017. MHT CET exam is on May 11, 2017. The entire application process will be carried out in online mode. In case a candidate fails to apply for MHT CET 2017 before the due date, then they can apply with an additional late fee of INR 500/- between March 24 to 30, 2017.
MHT CET is a pen-paper based common entrance test conducted for admission to Engineering, Health Sciences and Management courses in Maharashtra. The DTE (Directorate of Technical Education) Maharashtra has released a notification for MHT CET academic session 2017-18.
Candidates must satisfy the MHT CET 2017 Eligibility Criteria set by the conducting authority before applying. The eligibility standards are different for all the categories.
Candidates belonging to General category should have a minimum of 50% marks in graduation, 45% marks for Open Category PWD candidates and 40% for Reserved category PWD candidates.
More than 4 lakh aspirants apply for MHT CET each year. Under DTE Maharashtra, more than 350 engineering institutes grant admission to MHT CET aspirants. More than 1,700 colleges give admission based on State CET scores. Non-domicile students can also apply to the state engineering college under 15% All India Quota Seats through the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE- Main) 2017 score.
To fill the MHT CET Application form 2017, the candidate has to register online. DTE Maharashtra has scheduled MHT CET on May 11, 2017. The Result for MHT CET 2017 is expected on June 1, 2017. The MHT CET 2017 Application form can be accessed online by visiting the official website of DTE, Maharashtra. After registering for the exam, the candidate can proceed with the form-filling stage. The entire application procedure consists of the following steps:

Procedure for MHT-CET 2017 Registration and payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/e-wallet
Step 1: MHT-CET 2017 Registration
In order to register online, the candidate has to visit the website- www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/mhtcet2017 and click on ‘Apply Online’. The MHT CET 2017 registration page opens up wherein he/she has to fill the online form.
Step 2: Filling of Online Application form
The candidate is required to provide their personal details:
a. Contact Information: Enter valid personal address, email id, personal mobile number and nationality along with other required information while filling the form online. An email and SMS will be sent to the registered email id and mobile no. Please quote your Application number in all future correspondence with MHT- CET Office.
b. Reservation: Select Category from the given options, i.e. General, SC/ST, NC-OBC. In case of Reserved Categories, you have to fill additional details such as Caste/Tribe name, State/Union Territory etc. You can access these details from the National Commission for Backward Classes website.
c. Other Details: People with disability have to select “Yes” in the PWD field. All candidates have to enter the asked information (Aadhar number, name of bank, type of account, IFSC code, etc.) while filling the form online.
d. Education Details: This section will require you to fill in your details from class 12th till your most recent academic information. You need to enter the details of the following academic qualifications:
e. Login Details Required for MHT – CET 2017: Select the subject(s) you wish to appear in MHT CET 2017 viz. Mathematics/Biology.
Password entered while filling the online Application Form should be in between 8 to 15 characters and must contain at least one uppercase character, one lowercase character and one numeral. Remember the set password. Use this password during filling the application form.
f. Declaration by the Candidate: The applicants have to click on "I Agree"after carefully going through the points mentioned. The security key has to be entered diligently after which the applicants can click "Next" to proceed further.
Note: Check all the data filled in the Online Application Form before submitting it. No changes in Name, Father's Name, Date of Birth, Mobile No., and Email ID are permitted once confirmed and submitted.
Step 3: Upload Images
Click on “Upload Photo & Signature” tab. Next, Upload the Photograph/Signature as per the set standard.
Note: Make sure that the scanned signature and Photograph have a white background.
Step 4: MHT CET 2017 Application Fee Payment

Step 5: Confirmation Page
On successful payment of the MHT CET Application fee, a confirmation of the same will be displayed on the screen. After successful payment, the candidate should take the print out of MHT CET 2017 confirmation page for future reference.
