TSEAMCET Rank card 2017

TSEAMCET is conducted every year for admissions to UG professional courses offered by various colleges/Universities in the state of Telangana. This year the exam was conducted on May 12. Those candidates who appeared for TSEAMCET 2017 on Friday (May 12) might now be looking for their results and rank cards.

TS EAMCET 2017 rank card is expected to be released by JNTU around May 22. TSEAMCET 2017 Result will be published on the official website of JNTU and no physical dispatching of the rank card to candidates at their registered address will take place. Candidates should note that rank card will be issued only for those candidates who secured minimum of 25% marks in TSEAMCET 2017 exam.

TSEAMCET 2017 rank card is an important document which will be required at the time of counselling and choice filing process. Candidates are advised to download the admit card and take a print out of the same for future reference.


How to obtain TSEAMCET 2017 Rank card?

The rank card for TSEAMCET 2017 will be published on the official website and candidates will be required to download. The rank card will be published only after the preparation of TSEAMCET Merit List on the basis of performance of the candidates in TSEAMCET 2017 exam. The rank mentioned in the rank card will be based on the relative position of the candidate in the merit list. Candidates can download their rank card by following the below-mentioned steps.

  • Go to official website of TSEAMCET 2017.
  • Click on the “Download Engineering/Agriculture and Medical Rank Card”.
  • Enter your TSEAMCET 2017 Hall Ticket Number.
  • Enter Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number.
  • Enter Date of Birth.
  • Click “submit”.
  • Check and verify all the details mentioned in the TSEAMCET 2017 rank card.
  • Download and save the TSEAMCET 2017 rank card.
  • Obtain multiple copies for future purposes.

TSEAMCET 2017 rank card contains candidate’s demographic details along with the score and rank of the candidate. It is a document that validates candidate’s performance in the exam and determines whether he/she stands a chance of participating in the counselling process or not. Discrepancy in TSEAMCET 2017 Rank Card

In case candidate find any discrepancy in regards to the information mentioned in the rank card then he/she should immediately post an application mentioning the issue and a proof related to the same to the office of Controller of the Examination. Candidates should adhere to the following in order to register their grievance related to any discrepancy in the rank card.

  • Send a self attested copy of the TSEAMCET 2017 application form to the Board via post to change the incorrect entries in the rank card.
  • Any request of amendment in the TSEAMCET rank card after the last date won’t be entertained.
  • The candidate must carefully read all the instructions related to the examination mentioned on the TSEAMCET 2017 rank card.

The exam conducting authority does not take any responsibility in regards to any discrepancy in TSEAMCET 2017 rank card unless notified. TSEAMCET 2017 Counselling

TSEAMCET 2017 Counselling is scheduled to commence from June 2017 for all qualified candidates. The candidates will be invited in batches as per their respective rank in the TSEAMCET 2017 merit list. The counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds at designated counselling centers. Seat allotment will be based upon the choices filled by the candidates and marks obtained by them (verified by TSEAMCET 2017 rank card) in the exam. All the candidates who are allotted seats in the counselling will have to undergo seat allotment after each round to verify their claim to the seats failing which they will be removed from the process and seats allotted to them will be deemed as vacant.

Tie Breaking

In case two or more candidates have secured same score in the TSEAMCET a tie breaker procedure will be applied in order to determine their rank in the merit list. The procedure of tie breaker varies from course to course. The detail tie breaking procedure for each course is explained below.

For Engineering Courses

  • Total marks obtained in TSEAMCET 2017
  • Marks obtained in Mathematics
  • Marks obtained in Physics
  • The percentage of aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination
  • Candidate older in age will be given preference

For Agriculture course

  • Total marks obtained in TSEAMCET 2017
  • Marks obtained in Biology
  • Marks obtained in Physics
  • The percentage of aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination
  • Candidate older in age will be given preference

For Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card holders, the weightage of score will be decided by a committee appointed by the competent authority.

The ranking for Architecture will be done by taking weightage of Architectural in equal proportion, Aptitude-50% and qualifying examination ((10+2) or equivalent with mathematics as a compulsory subject) - 50%. The qualifying examination is 10+2 or 10+3 years diploma recognized by central/state governments or equivalent. The minimum qualifying marks for aptitude test in architecture is 40% marks.
