JKCET 2018 Admit Card

JKCET 2018 Admit Card will be released in the month of May 2018. Candidates who have successfully registered for JKCET 2018 will be issued admit cards by Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE).

  • They can access the Admit Card for JKCET 2018 by downloading it from the website www.jakbopee.org or www.jkbopee.in. No student will receive the admit card by post.
  • Aspirants can log on to the official website and enter their Application Number and Date of Birth to download the admit card.
  • Each applicant must have atleast 1 copy of the admit card which should be brought to the exam venue.
  • No individual will be allowed to enter the exam centre without their hall ticket.
  • Admit cards will be verified by the supervisors present at the exam center.
  • In case there is any discrepancy in the admit card, the organizing authority should be notified immediately.

JKCET (Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test) is a state level entrance exam conducted by JKBOPEE. JKCET 2018 is scheduled to be held in the month of May 2018. It is conducted to admit aspirants into various programs of Engineering and Architecture in institutes all over the state.

JKCET 2018 Admit Card Dates

JKCET 2018 Admit Card will be available from the 3rd week of May 2018. It can be downloaded from the official website. The important dates regarding the release of admit card and other processes are given below:

How to Download JKCET 2018 Admit Card?

JKCET 2018 Admit Card is an enabling document which shows the candidature and assigned roll number of the student. It can be downloaded from the official JKCET website. JKBOPEE will release a notification regarding the availability of admit cards on their website. It should be noted that the governing body is not responsible to send admit cards to any applicant by post.

JKCET 2018 Admit Card can be downloaded by following these few easy steps:

  • Log on to the official website of JKCET
  • Select the link of ‘JKCET 2018 Admit Card’
  • Aspirants will be required to choose their course from the drop-down list.
  • Enter login credentials on the page that opens. Enter the Application Number and Date of Birth.
  • Admit card will appear on the computer screen.
  • Verify all the details like name, registration number, examination centre, etc. given on the hall ticket.
  • Download the admit card and print a colored copy of it.

Aspirants who do not have internet facility can avail this facility at the Help Desk of I.T. Section of BOPEE with after prior appointment. They will be charged a nominal fee of INR 100. The address of the BOPEE offices are any mentioned below:

Details on JKCET 2018 Admit Card

Aspirants must check the details given on the admit card before downloading it. They must ensure that the details provided on the hall ticket are accurate and visible properly. During the examination, the invigilator present in the exam hall will check the details given on the admit card to verify the identity of the applicant. Incase there are any mistakes that need to be rectified in the admit card, contact the JKCET authority immediately.

The admit card will contain following details:

  • Candidate’s Name
  • Date and Time of Examination
  • Roll number
  • Registration Number
  • Mailing Address
  • Date of birth
  • Candidate’s signature
  • Candidate’s photograph
  • Name and address of examination center allotted to the student.
  • Exam Hall code

Discrepancy in JKCET 2018 Admit Card

If candidate finds any discrepancy in the details given in the JKCET 2018 admit card, then candidate must contact the authorities within the stipulated time. Documents Required with Admit Card

JKCET 2018 Admit Card is an important and mandatory document which aspirants will have to carry to the examination hall. Students who fail to produce their JKCET 2018 admit card at the exam center will not be able to appear for the exam and will be disqualified. Aspirants must carry 1 copy of the admit card which will be duly checked and signed by the invigilator.

In addition to the admit card, students will also be required to carry a government issued identity proof or identity card. The information provided on the JKCET 2018 Admit Card and the identity proof will be verified by the invigilator. Hence, individuals should ensure that the details mentioned on both are same. They can show any one of the following documents as photo identity proof:

  • Aadhar Card
  • Voter’s ID
  • Passport
  • Driving License
  • PAN Card
  • College ID Card
  • Class 12 Hall ticket

Exam Centers

JKCET 2018 will be held at various centers in the cities of Jammu and Srinagar only. Aspirants will be given a choice to choose the city preferred by them. The final exam centers will be generated by the system and no request for any changes will be entertained under any circumstance.


Exam Day Instructions

JKCET 2018 Admit card will also have a list of instructions which all aspirants must read carefully and follow. Students must follow certain rules and regulations to ensure the smooth running of the exam procedure:

  • Candidates must report to their designated JKCET 2018 center 45 minutes to 1 hour prior to the examination time.
  • They must bring a copy of their admit card, original identity proof, 3 photographs and stationery as permitted.
  • JKCET 2018 Admit Card is not transferable to any other person. Any such act of impersonation will be punished accordingly.
  • Items like calculators and log tables, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, paper chits, mobile phones or pagers will not be allowed into to the exam hall.
  • Students must mark their answers on the OMR sheet provided. They must fill in the necessary details and should not do any rough work on this sheet.
  • Individuals can approach the Invigilator or Center Supervisor present in the exam hall for any technical assistance, first aid emergency or any information regarding the online entrance test.
  • JKCET 2018 Admit card should be produced during the counseling process and must be preserved till the entire admission process is over.
