STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
TSICET 2017 or Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test was held on Thursday, May 18, 2017. Conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of TSCHE (Telangana State Council for Higher Education), TSICET is the entrance exam for Telangana. As like earlier, TSICET 2017 has organized in offline mode. Candidates who appeared for TSICET 2017 entrance exam are informed that official TSICET Answer Key are available at official website.
Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of the TSCHE will release the preliminary answer key of TSICET 2017 on May 21, 2017. As per the exam pattern and difficulty level is concerned-

TSICET 2017 Answer Key will be accessible online after the exam. The answer key will be available for 3 subjects viz. Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability and Communication Ability. With the help of TSICET answer key 2017, every student has the option to estimate their approximate score. The official answer keys will be published at icet.tsche.ac.in, so students can calculate the answer in their own way. Some coaching institutes also provide unofficial TSICET Answer key 2017 which are made by their subject experts. Candidates can use the answer keys for the following reasons:

If the candidates find any discrepancy in the answers provided by the exam authorities, they can challenge the preliminary answer key by submitting objections to the convener of TSICET 2017 by May 27, 2017. Such candidates will be required to send their objections either through email or post on the contact details given below –

Based on the objections received, the concerned exam authorities will revise and release the final TSICET answer key 2017 on May 30.
Once the Kakatiya University, Warangal conducts TSICET, answer keys will be released after the examination. Students who have appeared in the exam can check the keys and solutions to know which answers they have marked correctly and which incorrectly.

The Section wise analysis of TSICET Exam is mentioned below.
This section included sub sections like Data Sufficiency, Data Analysis and Reasoning. The overall difficulty level of this section was easy.
Data Sufficiency – Questions were asked on topics like Numbers and Plane Geometry. There were 10 questions each from these topics. Other questions were from Mensuration, Modulus, Sets and Quadratic Equations & Progressions. The Data Sufficiency questions were of tough difficulty level.
Data Analysis – This section comprised 2 sets on Data Interpretation, one with 5 questions and another with 2 questions. One question in this section was based on Set Theory. Candidates were asked 2 sets of questions on Pie Chart and Table which were Time-consuming and demanded intensive calculation.
Reasoning – This area had 45 questions. The topics of the questions included Series, Coding-Decoding, Arrival & Departure, Clocks & Calendar, Blood Relations, Analogies and Symbols & Notations. The difficulty level of this part was easy.
The questions raised in this section was from Vocabulary, Grammar, and Reading Comprehensions. The overall difficulty of this section was easy to moderate.
Vocabulary – There were 6 questions on vocabulary. The words were moderately common with few tough words as well. There were 4 questions of fill in the blanks which were also simple in nature. The overall difficulty of this part was easy.
Grammar – There were 15 questions in this section out of which 7 were on Statements/Conversation and 8 were on fill in the blanks with suitable verb/phrase/preposition. The difficulty level was easy to moderate.
Reading Comprehension – There were 3 passages with 5 questions with each passage. The passages were of 200 to 250 words and were simple to read and comprehend.
This section was tough and time consuming. Most of the questions required conceptual clarity and theoretical understanding. However, few questions were direct and formula based as well. The topics included Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Statistics.
Once TSICET Results are declared, the conducting body will announce the TSICET 2017 Merit list on the official website. Based on this TSICET Merit list, qualified candidates will proceed for the TSICET 2017 Counselling Process.
