NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
Kuldeep Sharma appeared for JEE Advanced in 2014 and secured 156 marks. He got admission call from many engineering institutes. He grabbed seat in IIT Dhanbad. We had a questionnaire round with him and he shares his preparation strategy and the books that he followed for his preparation.
Given below is the questionnaire round that we had with him
Ans. Yes I took coaching classes for JEE advanced- JRS tutorials and Momentum. JRS for year 2011-2013 and Momentum for 2013-14. Because of standard of practice problems and quality of teaching they provided, helped me to reach level of JEE advanced.
Ans. 150 mock test I took before JEE Advanced exam.
Ans. My strong area was Physics and my weakest area was Chemistry. Physics dealing with mostly real life problems and hence it took my special interest. So, I was more into physics. Chemistry is more of a subject of mugging up, according to me. So, practicing a lot, helped me.
Ans. First- Practice a lot. Solving every problem (problem sheet) teacher gives, as much time as one can.
Second- Read your teachers notes. It helps you to stand longer with your concepts.
Third- Go for every test and exams for JEE advanced practice.
Fourth- Revise everything on regular interval.
Fifth- Strictly follow teacher's curriculum.
Ans. It was one of my strong subject. I didn’t need much effort to polish my strong subject. I preferred good refreshers to make it on track.

Ans. Chemistry is a subject of more memorizing things. So, one needs to read books regularly with solving objectives of variety questions. It as well requires a lot of practicing.

Ans. Mathematics is a subject of only practicing problems. Only mantra to be fluent in Mathematics is to solve as much numerical problem as one can. Selection of study material is important.
