NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
JEE Advanced is held for admission to Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and its registrations begin from April 28, 2017.
JEE Advanced 2017 will be held in selected cities and towns in India and abroad. In India, for the ease of management, entire nation is demarcated and grouped into zones. Each zone is managed on of the core IITs. States grouped into zones are further divided into exam centers. A relatively large state with bigger headcount of candidates has more number of test centers compared to a smaller state.
Candidates are at liberty to choose the city for exam center during registration process. Here’s the important timeline that JEE Advanced 2017 will follow:

Candidates are required to compulsorily choose three cities for exam center at the time of registration. It should be noted that all three cities/owns should fall into the same IIT zone. Under normal circumstances, center is allotted in the city based on the preference given by candidate.
However, at times a candidate may be allotted a city not present on his /her preference but falling into the similar IIT zone. Authorities do not entertain requests for change of examination center once it is assigned to a candidate. Therefore, it is important that aspirants fill details and preferences carefully during the registration process.
There are seven IIT Zones for JEE Advanced 2017 which will manage the exam centers spread all across the nation. To assist the interested candidates the name of the IIT Zones along with the name of states, and total no. of centers in each state are given in the table below:

For the candidates who are unable to be give exam in India, JEE Advanced 2017 will be hosting at the foreign centers as well. The list of foreign centers is given in the table below.
Once the JEE Advanced 2017 Registration Process is completed, candidate has to wait for the release of Admit Card. The information on the Exam Center can be found on the admit card along with other details. It is strongly advised to check the particulars and instructions present on the admit card.
