Every MBA aspirant should be capable of decision making in Business Environment. So that is why this section is there in XAT exam. As a part of daily life human has to take decision whether it is wrong or right. So the decision making cannot be avoided.
XAT paper has entire section of 25 questions on this part since 2012. Previously this section has less number of questions those are clubbed with other section but now there is complete different section for this type of question.

A Passage with information in it having a set of 4-5 questions and each question has 4-5 decision making options.
The questions may be on what situation which decision is to be taken and why.
The most important thing is to understand the data and facts provided in the passage. Then read the questions. Then move to get the available information whether you require or not. Now try fix the problem with the solution that will be in a right perspective. Then the situation will be easier to answer your question.
Seema was a finance manager in an MNC and felt that gender discrimination at the workplace hampered her career growth. Frustrated, she quit the job and started a company. While starting her company, Seema decided that she would have equal proportion of males and females. Over the next six years, Seema emerged as a very successful entrepreneur and expanded her business to eight locations in the country. However, Seema recently started facing an ethical dilemma because she realized that female employees were not willing to travel across cities and work late hours, as the work required them to do.
