NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
Rachit Gupta appeared for XAT in the year 2014. He got 59 percentile. Apart from XAT, he also appeared for CAT and IIFT but didn’t score well in these exams. According to him in order to crack XAT one should focus on self-study rather than going coaching classes. He used to prepare in the weekends but says regular practice is must to clear the entrance. Ans. It was very hard to make time as I was always travelling, assignments, tests etc. I had a very little time for the dedicated study and practice, although I tried to put in study hours during the weekends.

Ans. Quant was probably a weak area even when I'm an engineer probably because of way too many laws to remember. Vocabulary was a hard part too as I'm not really good with the learning stuff. RC, CR were easy for me. SC were okay, I got some right and some wrong.

Ans. I just downloaded anything related that I could find over the internet.
Ans. Any website that has something to download. Basically I just search over the Google and find any related website there.

Ans. I broke down the Essay into many small portions and described the necessary solutions. I don’t remember much about the essays.

Ans. Well 2 months is a very short period of time for preparation. I would just say stick to the basics and not go over the tricks part as this would just create a lot of pressure on yourself.
