MP DMAT Counselling 2016, Round 2 Seat allotment begins from September 18

The MP DMAT (Madhya Pradesh Dental/Medical Association Test) Registrations for counselling began on September 3, 2016. We inform you that the MP DMAT Registration for Round 1 counselling was closed on September 8, 2016. As an aspirant you were supposed to fill-in and lock your choices in this given time frame only. You should make sure that you are a registered  MP DMAT aspirant before coming on the counselling day, in order to participate in the MP DMAT Counselling Process. The MP DMAT seat allotment was held on September 8, 2016 to September 10, 2016.

The counselling process will be held in two rounds. Once the first round is completed, a list for number of vacant seats will be released. Candidates can apply for these vacant seats if they are eligible. After the second round of counselling, an offline counselling will be held. The offline counselling will begin from September 28, 2016. It will continue till September 30, 2016. Candidates must keep a check on a separate notification that will be released for the same.

Students will be granted admission to MP DMAT Colleges on the basis of their NEET Results. In a recent order by the Supreme Court of India, the basis of admission will be according to the NEET Score only and MP DMAT exam has been cancelled.

MP DMAT 2016 Counselling Procedure

The process of MP DMAT Counselling 2016 will be entirely online. After qualify this entrance examination candidates are eligible to get admission in MBBS/BDS courses offered by private Institutes. Counselling will be advertised in news paper of the state and candidates can also check the MP DMAT counselling schedule 2016 from the official website of Association of Private Dental and Medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh (APDMCMP). Candidates will not be provided individual information regarding counselling by post or courier. Candidates may refer to the below steps for a detailed description of the same.

  1. Registration

The very first step is to register yourself for the counselling, as the entire counselling process will be conducted online. The registrations for the same began on September 3, 2016 and will continue till September 8, 2016. Registration is mandatary before participating in the MP DMAT counselling process.

To fill-in the MP DMAT Registration Form, follow the below steps:

  1. Visit the Official webpage and the form will open. The form will look like this-

  1. Fill-in all your personal and educational details
  2. All fields are necessary to fill
  3. Incomplete forms will be rejected
  4. Click on “Click here to fill DD Details”.

  1. Allotment Process

Seats will be allocated to the candidates as per the choice exercised and merit score of them. They will be allotted in order of merit. If candidates will not get seat in first round or if they are not satisfied with the allotted seat then participate in second round.

  1. Allotment Result

The MP DMAT seat allotment result for Round 1 is scheduled to come out on September 11, 2016. This will also reflect the number of vacant seats. The vacant seats will be filled in the second round of counselling. Those candidates who appeared in the first round but did not get a seat will be eligible to appear in the second round of the counselling.

  1. Scrutiny and admission process

Once all your documents are verified, your seat allotment result will be declared. The various admitting authorities will begin their admission process after your application for admission is accepted. It will be held between September 12-15, 2016. 4 days have been allotted for the same. 

  1. Notice for vacant seats

After allotment of seats in the first round, the number of vacant seats will be noted. The list of the vacant seats will be released on September 17, 2016. Candidates can again apply during this time in case they do not fetch a seat earlier. 

  1. MP DMAT Counselling Round 2

The second round of counselling is scheduled to begin from September 18, 2016. Candidates may please note that the steps of the counselling procedure will be same as mentioned for the first round of counselling.

  1. MP DMAT 2016 Offline Counselling

The offline counselling will begin from September 28, 2016 for those seats that remain vacant. It will continue till September 30, 2016. Candidates must keep a check on a separate notification that will be released for the same.

Below are the documents that needed to be produced by the candidate at the admission

  • Rank card of MP DMAT 2016
  • Demand Draft of Rs. 2,50,000/- (for MBBS), Rs. 1,25,000/- (for BDS) or Rs. 10,000/- for BPT and other courses in favour of APDMC payable at Bhopal (Tuition Fee)
  • Photocopy of filled MP DMAT Application Form
  • GAP Certificate if any
  • Documents validating the eligibility of the candidate
  • Marksheet of NEET 2016
  • Marksheet of the qualifying examination
  • Affidavit of as prescribed by the counselling admission

NOTE: If candidates are unable to submit the DD at the time of counselling, then they will have to submit it in the DMAT office within 3 days of the counselling date.
