STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
AMU BA LLB exam pattern comprises general English, general awareness, logical reasoning and aptitude sections. It consists of 75 objective questions and 10 subjective questions. The total duration of the exam is two hours only. Candidates can gather all the details which includes number of questions, type of questions, marking scheme etc. in this article.
AMU BA LLB entrance exam is conducted for admissions into law programmes. It is a state level offline test organized by Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). AMU BA LLB 2017 is to be scheduled for May 23, 2017. Candidates must be passed in 12th standard to apply for this exam. AMU BA LLB is conducted for total 220 seats available in various colleges affiliated to AMU. Check the following table for important dates as mentioned below:

In order to eligible for BA LLB course at AMU, it is necessary for a candidate to obtain a valid score in the entrance examination. One mark will be rewarded for every correct answer in objective type questions and 2.5 marks will be rewarded for every correct answer in subjective questions. AMU has a provision of negative marking. 0.25 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response in the objective answer and there is no negative marking for subjective answers. The subjective questions in this exam are based on legal issues, law topics and general awareness. AMU BA LLB paper will contain questions from the following sections. The questions in this sections will mainly be from topics such as Grammar, Spot the Error, fill in the Blanks, Synonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/ detecting Misspelt words, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement of sentences, Active/ Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/ Indirect narration and Comprehension Passage.
Logical Reasoning section can include questions on topics such as Non-Verbal Series, Number Ranking, Number Series, Alphabet Series, Arithmetical Computation, blood relations, Analogy, Coding-Decoding, Problem Solving, Verbal and Figure Classification, Logical Sequence of Words, Visual memory, discriminating observation, Figure Classification, Analysis, Judgment, Decision making.
From this section, the questions are asked from these topics like Fundamental Arithmetic Operations, Number Systems, Graphs of Linear Equations between numbers, Algebra, Mensuration, Statistical Charts, Geometry etc.
The questions in this section will be based on legal issues in India. Besides, other questions can be based on topics such as Indian politics, economy, eminent personalities, awards etc.
