Registration Process for SRMJEEE 2016

Application process for SRMJEEE 2016 has been started from October 19, 2015 and can be submitted in  both offline and online mode. Last date to fill the application or to receive the filled in application is March 15, 2016.

SRMJEE is an Online Exam which is scheduled to be held from April 19, 2016 to April 25,  2016. You must check the eligibility for the exam before applying. Candidate appearing in the qualifying examinations to be held in March / April / May 2016 can also apply . However, admission to such candidates will be subjected to:

(i) Satisfying the eligibility criteria as prescribed by SRM University and

(ii) Production of all documents (originals) by the cut – off date stipulated by SRM University

In this article we will share the instructions to fill online as well as offline application form of SRMJEEE 2016:

You can submit the application form via following options:-

  • Apply online with e-payment.
  • Apply online using unique voucher code and relevant instructions
  • Direct by filling the OMR form and send to university by post.

1. Applying Online

For applying online visit the official website http://www.srmuniv.ac.in/ . Click on ‘Now open –Apply’ beneath Admission India

After this you will be redirected to a new window and following page will appear. Now click on Apply button next to program you are applying for-

Now, First of all create account by Entering following information-

  • Name
  • Email- Enter a valid email id as it will be used for future correspondence
  • DOB- as per you 10th certificate
  • Phone Number- Enter a valid phone which you will be using till next six months as information related to your result and rank will be sent to you by SMS.

Candidates can stay updated at every stage of the admission through SMS if their correct mobile number has been provided in the application.

1.2 Get ID and Password- After filling all above information; you will get your User ID and Password

Your new account has been created successfully and the Login credentials have been sent to your registered E-Mail ID for future reference. Your password is your DOB.

In case you forget Login ID. Go to Login Page-

  

Click on forgot password

Enter your registered email and click on submit

User ID will be sent to your email id.


Now, you have to fill up all the pages of the application by clicking on the button provided below by agreeing the terms and conditions

After checking the box of ‘I agree to the Terms & Conditions’

Click on ‘Proceed’

Next part is the details to be mentioned in the  application form.

2.3 Exam Details

2.4 Test City preferences

Fill the three test city from the drop down. You can refer to that list of test cities here(Link)

The Centre of Examination and the session, once allotted to the candidate, shall not be changed under any circumstances

2.5 Personal details

Following information will be required to fill in this part-

  • Name- Auto filled
  • Gender- Choose
  • Community- Choose from drop down
  • DOB- Auto filled
  • Mobile Number- Auto filled

2.6 Address for Communication

Following should be filled in this part-

  • Father’s Name
  • Door/plot no
  • Street/locality
  • City
  • State
  • District
  • Std Code and Telephone

2.7 Educational Details

You will be asked to fill following details in this part-

  • HSC / 12th Year of Passing (YYYY)
  • HSC / 12th Board Name
  • HSC / 12th Institution Name       
  • HSC / 12th Passed / Appearing  
  • HSC / 12th PCM / PCB Percentage           
  • SSLC / 10th Percentage Type- grade/percentage

*For grades percentages will be automatically generated

  • SSLC / 10th Percentage

Now after filling all these click on ‘Save and Continue’

Next part is Uploads.

3.1 Upload Photo

Click on Upload photo and choose your scanned photo from your computer and click on upload button below.

You are not allowed to upload photo of size more than 200kb.

3.2 Upload Signature

Click on upload signature and select the scanned copy of your signature and click on upload button below.

After successfully uploading these files click on ‘Save and Continue’

Now you will have three options.  You can proceed to payment, edit or view the application. If you have any doubt check the application by clicking on view and if found any mistake rectify it by editing the application.

Next step is payment.

4. Payment Details

Application fee for SRMJEEE 2016 is INR 1000. You can pay in following modes-

Payment modes

You will have to choose from following payment modes-

  • E-payment
  • Demand Draft
  • Scratch card

4.1 e-payment

For e-payment you will provide two gateways. Choose any one. After that you have to choose the option of e-payment.

Further you have following options to pay fee via e-payment-

  • Net Banking- For net banking, choose you bank and login page will appear. Fill in your credentials and submit
  • Credit card/Debit card- Choose your card type first and proceed. The next page will ask for your credentials as of card, fill them and pay the application fee
  • Mobile wallet- For mobile wallet you can pay through Payzapp

4.2 Demand Draft

For fee remittance through DD you have to choose the DD option in payment modes and take the print of application form. Then fill the asked details and sent it along with DD to the university address before last date i.e. March 15, 2016

DD for Rs. 1000.00 will be drawn in favour of ‘SRMIST’, Payable at Chennai. Mail the filled application to following address:

4.3 Through Scratch card- You have to fill in Unique Voucher code and OMR application number. This is prepaid voucher code, for this you have to buy OMR application and pay the fee according to the instructions and a Unique voucher code will be given to you.

For paying through scratch card, you must be applying online using unique voucher code, use the instructions printed in the application form under Option 2.

Particulars needed at the time of filling SRJEEE 2016 Application form

Before you start filling the Application form, you must ensure you have the following particulars along with you to fill the application in one sitting-

  • A computer with good internet connection (If you are applying online)
  • One photocopy of all your educational qualification documents, since you will need to fill your qualification details in the application form
  • A good recent photograph taken on a white background for offline applying and for online scanned copy of image
  • A scanned copy of your signature in clear handwriting against a white background for online application
  • A valid email id and phone number is a must for the online registration process

Credit/debit card in case you intend to make the payment online

2. How to fill SRMJEEE OMR Application form-

Those candidates who obtain the OMR application form should send the fi­lled application to the university address mentioned in the envelope so as to reach before the last date speci­fied. Last date for receipt of ­filled-in application at the university offi­ce is March 15, 2016. Candidates are advised to retain a photo copy of the ­filled in application for future reference.

General Instructions to fill Computerized OMR Application form

  • Your application form will be machine-processed. Hence take utmost care in writing with black ballpoint pen in the boxes wherever provided. Corresponding to the above, darken the alphabet / numeral / oval using HB pencil only
  • Your photograph, signature and address are to be machine-scanned. So, paste a recent colour photograph of good quality with light colour background. Write your address and sign in the prescribed boxes using only a black ballpoint pen
  • Note that your name, your parent’s / guardian’s name and your date of birth should be exactly the same as given in your High School / Higher Secondary School examination certifi­cate
  • Incomplete or application fi­lled in a language other than English will summarily be rejected
  • Candidates are advised to retain with them a photocopy of the fi­lled-in application for future reference and quote the application number in all correspondence

Following are section wise instruction to fill OMR application form-

1. NAME- Write your name in CAPITAL LETTERS, Write only one letter in a box. Do not leave any blank box between the letters in a word. Darken the corresponding alphabet underneath each letter of the name. Do not prefi­x your name with Mr., Ms., etc.

2. Gender- Darken the oval

3. Community- Write the appropriate serial number in the boxes provided and then darken the appropriate oval

4. DOB- Write the date, month and year of your birth as per your High School / Higher Secondary School certifi­cate. Use numerals 01 to 31 for DATE, numerals 01 to 12 for MONTH, and all the four digits for the YEAR of birth. Darken the corresponding numerals for date, month and year in each column

5. State- Refer to list given below and enter the appropriate code in the box provided. Darken the box corresponding to the code

6. Contact Mobile Number- Write your mobile number in the space provided. Darken the corresponding numeral under each digit.

7. Photograph- Affi­x one recent (taken not later than a month) good quality colour photograph with light colour background in the space provided for this purpose.

8. Signature- Your signature is your identity. Hence sign using a black ink ballpoint pen, within the box provided.

9. Details of the Qualifying Examination Passed /Appearing- Shade the appropriate box to indicate whether you have passed or are appearing.

If already passed, attach photo copies of the relevant marks sheet.

10. Percentage of Marks (%) obtained in X standard- Write the aggregate percentage marks obtained in X standard. Darken the corresponding numerals under each digit. If grades are available multiply grade by 9.5 and use the result as percentage of marks.

11. XII /Equivalent Board - Refer to the list given below and write the appropriate code in the box provided. Darken the corresponding numeral under each digit of the code:

12. Aggregate percentage of marks (%) Obtained in XII standard /equivalent- Write the aggregate percentage of marks obtained in PCM / PCB in XII standard / equivalent examination, if already passed and the results are available; otherwise leave it blank.

The percentage of marks should be rounded off to the nearest integer. However, the marks below 65% should not be rounded off. Darken the corresponding numerals under each digit.

13. Test City Centre- Refer the list to choose three test cities as option 1, option 2, option 3 and write the appropriate code in the space provided. Darken the corresponding numeral.

14. Choice of University- Use the list given here and select the University and campus of your choice. Darken the corresponding oval.

16. Complete Postal Address

Write the complete postal address in capital letters. The address must include your parent’s name, and all other details with the correct pin code. Fill your phone no. with the correct STD code & also fill the email ID. This block will be scanned and therefore the details should be written ONLY within the rectangular box provided. This address will be used for correspondence.

17. Declaration

The candidate must sign the declaration and fi­ll up the place and date. Applications without signatures or with different signatures in item 8 and item 17 will be treated as incomplete and rejected. The declaration by the candidate must be countersigned by the parent / guardian.

Note that Hall Ticket will be issued only to those who have submitted their application forms complete in all respects so fill your application with full vigilance, on or before the last date. Hall ticket should be downloaded from website.

The results will be available on official website on 4th of May 2016 and the rank obtained by candidate will be sent through SMS.  University is planning to conduct online and on campus counseling, details of which will be published on the university website and also sent to the candidates through e – mail.
