NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE/OFFLINE TEST
NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is a national level entrance exam. It is conducted by CoA (Council of Architecture). NATA 2017 is scheduled on April 16, 2017. NATA exam is divided into 2 papers: Paper 1: Drawing Test and Paper 2: General Aptitude & Mathematics. From 2017, NATA will be conducted once a year. Both the papers will now be conducted in an offline mode.
NATA is held for candidates seeking admission to the five-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree course. Through NATA exam, a candidate’s aptitude and knowledge in the subject i.e. Architecture. Also, their drawing and observation skills are also tested.
During admission through NATA, the college considers your NATA score as well as 12th Board marks, (50-50%). For admission into any good colleges in India you should get around 65-75%+ aggregate and for Top colleges should get more than 75-85% aggregate.
As per the official COA website, there are about 423 institutions, which impart architectural education in India leading to recognized qualifications. The COA, New Delhi, is all set to conduct NATA 2017 for admission to Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) course.
The objective of NATA 2017 is to conduct a single examination with an aim to assess the aptitude and analytical skills of the candidates. Candidates, who successfully clear NATA 2017 are eligible to apply for admission to bachelor of architecture course across the participating institutes of NATA 2017.
