NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE/OFFLINE TEST
NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) was conducted on April 16, 2017 in offline mode. The level of the difficulty of the paper was moderate. NATA 2017 Answer Key along with solutions is available on this page. The answer key comprises correct answers to the questions asked in the question paper. With the help of answer key, candidates can calculate the total marks and analyze their exam performance. This can be done by comparing correct answers in NATA Answer Key with the responses recorded by the applicants in the examination. The answer key will be taken into consideration for preparing NATA Result. The result will be declared on June 10, 2017. The answer key is needed to the solved steps and answers for the questions. NATA Question paper comprised two paper i.e. Paper 1 (General Aptitude and Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Drawing Test). It consists of 62 questions carrying 200 marks. Candidates have to solve the paper in three hours.
Candidates will have to secure more than NATA Cut Off to get admission in the participating colleges. They must have secure more than 40% marks to be declared qualify.
NATA Answer Key and Question Paper will be updated soon as soon as it is available. Candidates can write us if they feel any of the answer is not correct. They will have to keep in mind that the calculated scores will not be 100% correct. It is important for all applicants to follow the marking scheme of NATA 2017. As COA (Council of Architecture) is the exam authority, it will release the official answer key. Candidates can challenge the answer key if they find any discrepancy. The challenges against the answer key will be referred to the exam board constituted by COA.
The official answer key of NATA will be released by the exam authority within a week after the examination. Candidates eagerly waiting for the answer key can follow these below steps to download the official answer key.
Candidates must ensure about NATA Exam Pattern before calculating the scores. COA will release the tentative answer key for Mathematics and General Aptitude section, no answer key will be released for Drawing section. The correct answer as per the answer key can be checked by comparing candidate’s answer with the actual answer. NATA Score will help candidates to know their chances for admission to B.Arch courses offered by NATA Participating Institutes across the country. Candidates must secure at least 25% of marks in entrance exam to qualify NATA 2017. They have to obtain 30 marks out of 120 in Paper 1 and 20 marks out of 80 in Paper 2. The overall qualifying marks will be notified later on the basis of post exam statistics and decision of the council.
Till now, NATA was conducted as an online examination. Even the exam pattern would see the major changes this year. As per the new pattern, this pen and paper based examination has conducted in offline mode.
Paper 1 Analysis – Mathematics & General Aptitude Test
Paper 1 contained 60 multiple choice questions and the duration is 1 hour 30 minutes. Each question carries two marks and there is no negative marking for wrong answers. It involves checking the perception, imagination, observation, understanding of scale and proportions, creativity and communication along with architectural awareness of candidate.
Also, this section will also test the candidate’s Mathematics level in terms of Algebra, Logarithms, Complex numbers, quadratic equations, Binomial theorem, Matrices, 2D - Coordinate Geometry, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Vectors, Permutation and combinations, Statistics and Probability.
Paper 2 Analysis - Drawing Test
In this section, candidate has to draw or sketch a diagram in 3D as per their visualization, symmetry and sketching ability. Through the sketching, the ability of visualization will be tested. It has 2 questions in total and has to be attended in A4 Size paper. Each question carried 40 marks. It is mandatory to attempt all the questions. The answers in this section will be examined by more than one examiner and then marks will be averaged.
NATA Cut off is the minimum score required by a candidate in order to become eligible to participate in the admission process.
