STATE LEVEL ONLINE TEST
TISS (Tata Institute of Social Sciences) conducts the TISS National Entrance Test, commonly known as TISSNET. It is a national level entrance test, conducted every year by TISS, Mumbai, for admission to management courses in all its campuses (Mumbai, IMHST Chennai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, MHAT Calicut and G-SET Ranchi). The management courses offered by TISS are MA in Human Resources Management and Labour Relations (HRM & LR) programme at its Mumbai campus.
TISSNET 2017 is scheduled for January 7, 2017.The official Syllabus for TISSNET 2017 has been released. Candidates must ensure proper and effective study while the TISSNET Preparation. Candidates are advised to study according to the prescribed syllabus for TISSNET 2017to obtain the best TISS results.
Candidates must note that the TISSNET question paper shall be based on 100 questions, distributed in three sections. The three sections will include questions from General awareness, English Proficiency and Maths & Logical Reasoning.

TISS Exam is a computer based objective test, conducted by TISS across various cities of India. In the TISSNET 2017 Exam Pattern, there will a total of 100 questions. The questions are divided under three sections which are given in the below table.
The total time in which the candidate needs to solve the question paper is 1 hour 40 minutes i.e. 100 minutes, which means 1 minute for every question. Every correct answer will be awarded 1 mark. There will be different number of questions asked from the 3 sections. The number of questions, along with the sectional marks. are given below:

The most noteworthy feature of the TISS exam is that there is no system of negative marking. It gives the candidate an opportunity to take blind guesses for the questions which he was not able to solve instinctively. The cut off marks for the TISSNET are expected to range between 85 to 90. On the basis of the cut-off marks and the score obtained by the candidate in the exam, he/she will be shortlisted for the subsequent modes of selection which comprise of Pre-Interview test and Personal Interview test.
