All India Management Association has released the MAT May 2017 exam dates at aima.in. The registration process for MAT 2017 will begin from the first week of March 2017. MAT May 2017 is on May 7, 2017 in offline mode and on May 13, 2017 in online mode. Candidates who have appeared in the examination can check their MAT May Result 2017 after one week of the examination. 
MAT is a national level entrance test conducted for admissions to MBA and PGDM program in various prestigious B-schools and management colleges. MAT is held 4 times a year usually on the first Sundays of the month February, May, September and December. Various top B-schools of the country consider the MAT score card for providing admission in their colleges.


MAT May 2017 Exam Dates

MAT May 2017 Application Form

MAT May 2017 application process will start from the first week of March, 2017. The application form will be available in online and offline mode. The following steps are to be followed for the fulfilment of the MAT Application Form:

  • The candidates who have registered online are required to create their student account by entering certain details like name, email id, mobile number and then saving the login credentials.
  • With the respective log in id, candidates should log into their account and fill the MAT May Application Form 2016.
  • Last date to apply for MAT May 2017 is April 28, 2017.
  • MAT 2017 Application form can be purchased from the listed study centers of AIMA Delhi Office by paying the registration fees in cash.

The application fees to apply for MAT 2017 is INR 1400. There is no concession for the reserved category students. Students can remit the exam fee through credit/debit/cash or even a demand draft.

 

MAT Registration Form Acknowledgement

Printout of MAT May 2017 online registration form sent to AIMA if required, will be processed within 5 days. MAT Application Form number of such received forms will be available on their official website. Such receipts will be examined and if found in order; will be provisionally registered. However, MAT application form printouts received later than the due date are liable to be rejected. Neither any correspondence in this regard will be entertained nor the fee will be refunded.


MAT May 2017 Eligibility

Candidates who are wishful to attend MAT May 2017 must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

  • The minimum qualification of the candidate to appear for MAT test is graduation. Candidates must have completed their graduation in any of the streams such as science, commerce and arts.
  • Candidates in final year of their graduation can also apply for MAT May 2017.
  • Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST) in their graduation. NRI candidates can also appear in MAT.
  • Age is no bar to appear in MAT
  • There is no attempt limit for MAT.

MAT May 2017 Admit Card

Candidates who have applied for MAT 2017 can download MAT May 2017 admit card from the official website on or after April 28, 2017. The following simple steps are to be followed to download MAT May 2017 Admit Card:

  • Visit AIMA official website
  • Find the link to download MAT May 2017 Admit Card and click on it
  • Enter the required details: Name, MAT Application Form Number and Date of Birth in DD/MM/YY format
  • After filling the requisite information, click on the “Submit” button
  • MAT May 2017 admit card will be displayed on the screen
  • Take extra printouts of the MAT May 2017 admit card so that it can be used for future correspondence

MAT May 2017 Exam Pattern

MAT May 2017 exam will be held in the online and offline mode. The question paper will have a total of 200 questions. MAT Paper Based Test will be held only in single slot 10:00 am -12:30 pm.

There are 5 sections and each section carries 40 marks. Each question will carry 1 mark. For every incorrect answer, ¼ marks will be deducted as a penalty. The question paper will consist of the 5 sections mainly language comprehension, mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning and Indian and Global Environment.

MAT Results May 2017

MAT Result is declared on the official website of AIMA after the conduct of exam. MAT Scorecard is not sent to the candidates by post. Candidates can check their MAT Results May 2017 by following steps:

  • Visit the official website of MAT at aima.in.
  • Click on MAT Result May 2017

 

MAT Result 2017

  • Then log in using your MAT roll number, form number and month of the test
  • Submit the form after verifying all the details
  • MAT 2017 result will be displayed
  • Print MAT 2017 result for future correspondence

MAT result and scorecards are valid only for duration of one year. MAT merit list is prepared on the basis of the scores obtained in MAT. The merit list will be updated only after the declaration of MAT May 2017 results. Candidates are advised to keep a printout of their MAT 2017 scorecards for further reference in the admission procedure.


MAT May 2017 Counseling

MAT Counselling for May 2017 will be held in September 2017. Candidates should confirm their ranking in MAT May 2017 exam and the date of counselling. It is conducted on the basis of ranking secured in MAT exam. At the time of counselling, candidates should be sure of course selection and particular colleges. 
Given below is a set of documents that are required at the time of MAT 2017 admission procedure:

  • Counselling letter with its Xerox copy
  • MAT 2017 admit card with its Xerox copy
  • Photocopy of class 10th, 12th passing certificates along with their originals
  • Medical Documents
  • MAT 2017 Scorecard
  • Caste Certificates 
  • At least 6 recent passport size photographs (black & white and coloured)
