While filling the MAT 2016 September Application form, candidates are asked to fill in the preferred institutes in terms of choice and priority. Please note that there are no extra charges for filling for these 5 choices. In case a candidate wants to fill in more choices than the given ones, he has to pay INR 75 for each choice of college. For a candidate who applies for the choice of college after the test conduct, he has to pay INR 100 for each.
We are sure that most of the students will be in a dilemma about which MAT score will be acceptable, but it is as a difficult exercise for management institutes too, since it is held quarterly every year. However, with the reduced number of score accepting institutes, a candidate will be unable to apply for admission if an institute accepts September score of MAT 2015 but doesn’t accept MAT 2016 Score, despite his improved score.
The Management Aptitude Test, commonly known as the MAT, is a standardized test which is conducted four times a year. The All India Management Association is the conducting body, assisting the students for admission into MBA as well as into other management related programmes in the Management Institutes across the country. The next exam session of MAT 2016 Scheduled for September 4,2016 (for paper-based) and September 10,2016 (for computerized exam), as declared by AIMA. The MAT 2016 online registration was closed on July 4,2016
All India Management Association, New Delhi hasn’t interfered in this prevailing issue. It clearly mentions on its website, ‘Applicants are advised to check the approval/recognition status of various programs and other details directly from the concerned Authorities/ Institutes/ Universities. AIMA has come across a couple of cases where the aspiring candidates' MAT score is not accepted by some participating institutes/universities for admission to mba full time course despite their confirmation to AIMA at the time of participation by incorporating their notifications in mat bulletin. candidates are advised to recheck with the concerned institutes/universities before applying for mat.’
