NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
CAT 2018 Application Form: CAT 2018 is set to be conducted in the month of December 2017 for the coming session. Candidates with minimum 50% aggregate marks at graduate level can register themselves online on the official website in August 2017. Aspiring candidates will be required to fill in an online application form. This CAT 2017 application form will be available on separate website created for the convenience of candidates. Application fee is INR 1600 for General candidates and INR 800 for SC/ST and PwD candidates.
CAT is a national level exam organized by Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) on a rotational basis to admit candidates under various disciplines of MBA programs offered at IIMs, Institutions under state government, state-funded institutes, and other private B-schools.

Application Form for CAT 2018 is available in online mode only and no offline mechanism for the same is there at present. Aspirants who wish to appear in CAT 2018 will have to undertake an online process of application to present their candidature at the time of taking exam. The amount of application fee to be paid for CAT 2018 is different for each category. Candidates applying online would have to pay an additional online processing fee as per their respective banking channel. The exact amount payable at the time of CAT 2018 Application Process is as follows:

Application number generated after completion of CAT Registration Process would be received by candidates through a separate e-mail. Candidates are advised to save this mail or note down this number at some secure place. In case they forget password for log in portal then they can use the respective application number to set a new password. Steps to set a new password are as follows:

Candidates would come to know about their application status for CAT 2018 once the admit cards are published for the same. At the time of making CAT 2018 application if a candidate has not done any mistake and has successfully filled the form and submitted stipulated fee then they will be notified through a message/mail that their application response is submitted successfully.
Those whose application gets rejected would not be able to download the admit card and would be informed about the same through a mail on the registered email id. The reason for rejection of application would also be mentioned.
Foreign candidates, NRIs and candidates belonging to “Overseas Candidate” category will have to go through the same examination procedure as that of Indian candidates. A candidate who is residing outside India for a period of 12 months or more for work, study etc. would be treated as an Indian resident abroad for the purposes of exam.
