Here is the questionnaire we had with him:
Ans. The interviews were all different. So there is no specific pattern. One interview was stress-interview where two panelists were just bombarding me with questions without giving much time to think. The key there was to keep my cool, and not be distracted. In another interview I was mostly asked logical reasoning based questions. In some interview I was given a 6-sigma problem to solve, which was a technical question. In yet another interview, I was asked more about recent socio-political issues.
I think the general idea would be to keep one's cool and not be overpowered by any question. When in doubt, ask. It is also important to stand by your answers but not show a rigid attitude. Be open to the interviewer's suggestions and add your viewpoint. If you don't know an answer even after trying, tell them the same. Don't try to fool them by showing that you are really trying hard, as mostly then can see through it.
Ans. I had attended 7 GDPIs.

Ans. I took coaching classes and also done self-study
Ans. The coaching institute was good. Teachers were punctual and were always ready to help. There were separate teachers for Quant, LR/DI and English. They even conducted mock GD/PI for us.
Ans. I made a study schedule for two months before CAT. I generally got only about 2-3 hours to study after work and other chores. So everyday I focused on different subjects. I had a study material from previous year. So my first aim was to complete it. At first I focused on giving correct answer, irrespective of time taken to solve, as I wanted to build the concept. Then after a couple of weeks, I started timing myself. I generally did Quant and LR/Di during weekdays and Comprehension during Saturday. Sundays, I just revised all of it. Also, everyday during the week, my aim was to learn 5 new words and revise them during the weekend.
Ans. Career Launcher, but in 2010
Ans. My weak area was some sections in Quant, which I overcame by practising more. Also, my weak area was that sometimes in DI questions, i got so engrossed that I exceeded the time limit. So I practiced it by making a strict stop at time, so it helped me more disciplined.
Ans. I was generally good in this section. So I just practiced and revised
Ans. Career Launcher Study Material Career
Ans. I practiced to be within time or leave the question, because I generally put too much time in many questions, and not getting the answer in the end left me frustrated. So the key was discipline and keeping calm.
Ans. Nothing except Career launcher Study Material
Ans. Again the strategy here was to be disciplined with time. Also, many times I generally followed the elimination strategy to eliminate the very rare possibilities early. Then it makes choice easy. Also, it is good to solve this problems in a diagrammatic way on paper rather than trying in one's head, so that it doesn’t get mixed up.
Ans. Career Launcher Study Material
Ans. I practiced two comprehension each week and the key was time management
Ans. Career Launcher Study Material
Ans. I practiced 5 new words every day during the week and revised them over the weekend. Also, I used the words in one sentence each. I also tried to write a short paragraph on the weekend, suing all the words that I learnt, so that i would remember the meaning of each.
Ans. I started two months before the exam too. So be disciplined and it will do the trick
