STATE LEVEL ONLINE TEST
MAH CET 2017 (Maharashtra Common Eligibility Test) is conducted for admission to the first year of Post Graduate degree courses in Management for the academic year 2017-2018 in various colleges of Maharashtra. The exam is conducted by DTE (Directorate of Technical Education), Maharashtra for admission in MBA/MMS colleges. The paper will have 4 sections in total – Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability. The total marks allotted for the paper is 200. The level of the exam is based on the level of the qualifying examination i.e., Graduation.
MAH CET Application Form is available online from February 2017. The exam is scheduled in the month of March 2017. Candidates can make use of the suggested preparation books mentioned in the article below. It is important for candidates to know the MBA CET 2017 Syllabus and prepare according to the syllabus to get a good score in MAH CET 2017 Exam. MAH CET 2017 will be held online mode and question paper will consist of 200 questions of 1 mark each and no marks will be deducted for wrong answer. The duration of the paper will be 150 minutes. Paper will be divided into four sections - Logical Reasoning (75 questions), Abstract Reasoning (25 questions), Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions) and Verbal Ability/ Reading Comprehension (50 questions)
Logical Reasoning - This topic carries 75 MCQs of 75 marks in MAH CET paper, Candidate can score very well in this section, if he/she prepared carefully. This measure how quickly and accurately a candidate can think. Some of the important topics of MAH CET is given below:
Abstract reasoning - This topic carries 25 MCQs of 25 marks in MAH CET paper, In this section a candidate’s ability to derive information from given set of data, which may include pie chart, bar graph etc. This section also measures how quickly and accurately a candidate can think. Quantitative Aptitude - This section test how fast and accurate a candidate can work with numbers, do calculations and understand various arithmetic problems involving percentage, ratio & proportion and more. This section consists of 50 MCQs of 50 marks and is considered to be a scoring section, but to get a good score in this section, a candidate must know the complete syllabus of this section. The questions in this section are designed to check the ability of the candidate in solving real time problems based on mathematical principles.

Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension - This section test a candidate’s English Language ability would be tested through questions on Grammar, Vocabulary, Synonyms & Antonyms , Comprehension of passages etc. This section contains 50 MCQs of 50 marks and the basic types of questions in this section are given below:
