MAH CET 2018 Results are tentatively scheduled to be declared in the 2nd week of March 2018. Results will be declared by DTE at its official website.
MAH CET 2018 result will be declared tentatively in the 2nd week of March 2018 through online mode. The scorecard will contain scores obtained by candidate in the entrance test and overall percentile. Aspirants can check their results on the official website i.e. www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in.
Steps to check MAH CET 2018 result are given below:
Candidates can view the following details present in MAH CET results page when they enter their registration number and date of birth in the online results portal and click ’Submit’.
Based on the scores obtained in MAH CET, candidates are assigned ranks and are shortlisted on the basis of this rank for admissions into the institutes. Thus, a merit list is prepared and candidates who feature in this merit list are eligible for completing admission process.
The merit list is declared in two stages.
Provisional merit list is usually declared as soon MAH CET 2018 counselling ends. This list is announced tentatively in last week of May 2018 or in 1st week of June 2018. The Provisional merit list does not confirm admission of candidates, they must wait for the final merit list to be declared.
After due consideration of the results of DTE MBA counselling, final merit list is prepared and announced at the end of June 2018. Only candidates who are a part of this list are shortlisted for admissions to various colleges.
Merit list is based on the ranks obtained by candidates seeking admissions under Maharashtra State Seats, All India Seats and Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Seats. In the event that two candidates have the same overall score and percentile, the priority sequence, while preparing the merit list is as given below.
This is the order of preference if in case candidates aspiring to get admissions under the Maharashtra State Seats category get the same score and percentile in MAH CET 2018:
Cut Off plays an important role in determining whether or not, candidate can get a seat in the desired institution. A knowledge of the previous years’ cut off will enable candidate to plan the counselling in an informed and better way.
The table below gives the information regarding MAH CET cut off (MAH CET scores), of top institutes in the state, from previous year. This year too, cut off is expected to be pretty much similar with few minor variations.

MAH CET counselling 2017 is a web-based admission and seat allotment process. CAP (Centralised Admission Process) will be organised in multiple rounds, based on the number of seats remaining vacant at the end of each round. Like last year, it is expected that 4 round of MAH CET counselling will be held this year too. The fourth round of MAH CET CAP 2018 is expected to be conducted only for the eligible Maharashtra state candidates.
