GMAT 2018 Admit Card

GMAT 2018 Admit Card will available at the website for successfully registered candidates. The Admit Card is available as soon as the registration completes at official website. GMAT Admit Card 2018 is the basic document you need to carry for examination day. In absence of Admit Card, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall and and deemed ineligible to sit for exam as well. Admit Card also verifies your details registered at official website of GMAT 2018.

GMAT is the global level entrance for admission in management programs in foreign Universities. Conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), GMAT entrance is basically an all-the-year test being conducted on multiple dates, dates of which can be chosen by the candidate according to his or her convenience and availability.


Important Dates of GMAT

Since GMAT is conducted throughout the year and students can sit for exam at any time of the year, there is no such fixed dates for releasing of admit cards. Admit Card for successfully registered candidates soon after their completion of registration.

Aspiring candidates need to register themselves on the official website of GMAT (www.mba.com). Once the details are registered successfully, students will be issued admit cards. GMAT Admit card is also referred as Confirmation Letter. Students need to download the Admit Card few days before the commencement of the exam. They also receive the GMAT Confirmation Letter via email.

How to Download Admit Card/ Hall Ticket of GMAT?

  • Visit the official website of GMAT. The website link is www.mba.com.
  • Register and complete your official GMAT profile. Your name, date of birth and your citizenship must match details as per your ID proof.
  • Once you are registered, system will auto-generate you a unique user ID for further use.
  • Wait for 2, 3 days and log onto the site again with your registered user ID and password.
  • Next step is to schedule your exam and confirm the exam centre.
  • Then you need to pay the fees online for appearing the GMAT.
  • Your registration is complete only when you pay your exam fees.
  • Once the registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation letter. This should be treated as your Admit card.
  • GMAT Admit Card is issued only to those candidates who have paid the fees and filled in all the details.

Details on GMAT Admit Card/ Confirmation Letter

GMAT Admit card verifies your candidature to appear for GMAT exam. Admit Card or Confirmation letter comprise basic details about the candidates as listed below:

  • ID number of GMAT Test
  • ID number of the student
  • Name of the student
  • Address of the student
  • Date of birth of the student
  • Examination date and timing
  • Examination center etc.

Discrepancy in GMAT Admit Card/ GMAT Confirmation Letter

Once you get a copy of your GMAT Confirmation Letter, make sure all the information given on the card is correct. Incase, if there is any discrepancy, you need to report it immediately to the concerned authorities to ensure smooth conduct on the day of exam.

The reporting about discrepancies can be done either online or at the registered office in person. Make sure, the personal details that you fill while registering is exactly same as the one given in your passport or other ID proofs.


Documents Required with Admit Card

On the day of your exam, you are required to bring following items to the examination centre:

  • Appropriate identification proof id document. Passport is the best option in this regard. Other legal ID proofs include Government-issued driver’s license, Government-issued PAN card or Military ID card.
  • It is advisable for candidates to have more than 1 ID proof.
  • In addition to these two, you can carry with you only medical related items like as your eyeglasses and hearing aids, pillow for neck or back support, neck collars, insulin pump attached to your body etc.

Exam Day Instructions

GMAT 2018 Admit Card

  • Read the GMAT test rules agreement beforehand.
  • All candidates should reach the exam center at least half an hour before the scheduled time to avoid last minute confusion and hassle.
  • Make sure you know exactly the location of your test center.
  • Choose a test center which is closest to your home.
  • You are not allowed to carry calculator, mobile phone, notes, bag, watches, pen, pagers etc.
  • You are not allowed to carry food items to the examination room.
  • You will be allotted a computer workstation and you will be provided with pen, pencil and note board for rough work which need to be kept back at the workstation once the exam is over.
  • A locker is allotted for your personal belongings.
  • The center will not be responsible for loss of any valuables.
