NEET 2017 Application form can now be filled at the official website of CBSE i.e. cbseneet.nic.in. The last date to apply for NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is March 01, 2017.The Application fee to fill the NEET Application Form is INR 1400/- for General candidates and INR 750/- for Reserved quota candidates.

With the introduction of NEET 2017 as the central level medical entrance test for MBBS/BDS Admissions in 2017-18 across various government and private medical & dental colleges in the country, CBSE has also brought about some change in application procedure for the upcoming exam. MBBS and BDS aspirants must possess a valid aadhaar number to apply for NEET 2017. Apart from Aadhar Card being mandatory, candidates applying for NEET must be in between 17 to 25 years of age. Candidates need to complete mainly 4 steps to apply for NEET 2017: Registration, Filling details in the online form, uploading images and payment of registration fee. Application fee can be remitted in both online and offline mode.
NEET 2017 Application form can be filled only in online mode. No other mode of application is acceptable. The online registration begins from January 31, 2017 till the March 01, 2017. The NEET Exam is scheduled in offline mode at allotted center on May 07, 2017. The other important exam dates for NEET 2017 are tabulated below:

NEET 2017 application process is conducted online completely. The application form can be accessed from the NEET 2017 official website. Filling the NEET online form is a 4 step process, i.e. Registration, Form Filling, Uploading Scanned Images and Fee Payment. The stepwise application procedure for NEET is explained below for reference of candidates.
In order to register for NEET 2017, candidates have to visit the official website. The step-wise process for Registration is mentioned below:
Enter your personal details i.e. your name, parent’s name, category, identification type and number, valid email id and mobile number. After filling all the details, click on " Submit" button
After submitting details, candidates will be redirected to create their own profile password and set a security question for their account. They also have to enter the OTP sent on their registered phone number.
Security Question: Security Question is important for candidates in case they forget their login password. Candidate can chose any of the questions provided on the official site and answer that question. Candidate can also note down the question and its answer for the future purpose also.
For entering Password, Candidate must ensure that the password is of 8-13 characters long and there must be atleast one Upper case letter, one lower case letter, numeric and one special character like @#$%^.
Candidates will receive a Registration number after successfully completing the online registration. They can either continue to fill the form or login later with the registration number and profile password.

You have to enter your contact details viz House Number, Locality, Village/Town/ City, State, District, Email and Mobile Number with Country Code landline with STD code.
3. Parent/Guardian Details
Enter the details of both father and mother (Occupation, Qulification and Income).
4. Academic Details
Enter details regarding your 10th class examination like School Name, Address of School, Board, Year of Passing and Marks obtained in 10th class.
Note: While entering (%) of marks in class 10: You have to enter your marks in percentage, if you have marks in CGPA,then multiply 9.5 with your CGPA scored.
5. Qualifying Examination Details
Enter the details of your qualifying examination like Qualifying Examination Code, School Board, Year of Passing, Type of Institution, Name of School, Address, Study in India or Abroad, State of examination, District and Marks Obtained.
6. Details of Marks of Qualifying Examination
Enter your marks subject wise. While entering Details of Marks of Qualifying Examination, if you have studied Botany and Zoology as two different subjects then indicate the total of both the subjects in the field of Biology.
7. Details Regarding Paper and Login
Medium of Paper: Candidate can choose the language of question paper. Once saved candidate can’t edit the medium. If Hindi is chosen by the candidate then the question paper will be both in Hindi and English language. There are options for 8 vernacular languages also.
Choice of Examination Centre: Candidate can choose three examination centre in order of priority and proximity. Candidate can check the list of examination centre. Candidate must note that the choice of centre will not be edited once submitted.
8. OTP Verification and Security Pin
Candidates have to again enter an OTP (One Time Password) and security pin before finally submitting the personal details.
Check all the details carefully you have filled in the application form. You will have the option to correct the details in the application form after you click on ‘Final Submit’. However, if all the information is correctly uploaded in the form then simply click on,”Yes, please do” to submit the details.
In the second step, you have to upload the scanned images of Passport sized Photograph and Signature. The image must have a white background.
Size of photograph must be between 10 KB to 100 KB. Write your name in Capital letters and the date of the photograph taken on it. The photograph must have been taken after January 31, 2017. Only spectacles are allowed. Polaroid and Computer photos are not acceptable. While uploading the image, system will recognize only one face using face recognition technology.
Signature must be uploaded in appropriate box. You should sign in running hand. Signature with the name written in capital letters will be rejected. Size of the Candidate’s Signature scanned image is between 3 KB to 20 KB. Image must be in JPEG format.
Note: You can upload the photograph which does not have the name and the date of photograph. But if they do so then you must bring that photograph at the time of exam for verification purpose. In both cases, candidates are advised to bring photos with them.
You can pay the NEET 2017 Application Fee in online mode only. There are 4 online payment gateways through which the fee can be remitted by the applicants.
You have to select one suitable method. Also go through the application fee charges carefully, before you proceed to make the payment.
Note: If fee has been paid twice via Debit/Credit card then candidate’s fee will be refunded by the bank similarly as in case of refund by Indian Railways. If payment has been done twice then the concerned bank will automatically refund the fee after verification.
Charges Applicable on Various Modes of Payments:
Applicants should scan their recent photograph and signature as per the dimension specified by CBSE in their guidelines. The Photograph should be recent with the name of the candidate and date of photograph taken.
The signature should be written with a blue/black ball point pen on a preferably white background. You can edit your photograph and signature using following steps:-
After submission of form and fees, you can check your form status by logging in your account on the website with registration id and password. You can verify whether your form is submitted successfully or not.
Candidates often tend to forget their login credentials and in particular password. So you can reset your password by visiting the official website and clicking on the Candidate Login. There you will find a link tagged “Forgot Password?” Under registered User Sign In option, “click on Forgot Password?” Option, this will direct you to password regeneration page. You can reset your password through two methods, either through OTP or using the answer provided for Security Question during the registration process.
Enter the details asked in fields and click on Submit. Then reset your password and login with new password.
Before you begin the registration process make sure you have these documents at hand so as to avoid any discrepancy during filling personal or academic details.

Also, keep scanned image of a passport sized photo (with correct photo size) and signature ready before beginning the application process for NEET. The application fee can be paid only in online mode i.e. through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking or E-Wallet. The application fee is INR 1400 for all the candidates.
