Item Response Theory (IRT), a psychometrically supported statistical model, is utilized in the post-equating process and all the exam items are analyzed concurrently and the parameters of the estimated items are evaluated on common metric. The result is a score achieved by the candidate along with the difficulty of the administered form.

  6. Post equating takes into account that all examination scores are valid, fair and equitable. Merit List shall be made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates.
