NCHMCT JEE 2017 Application Form

NCHMCT JEE Application process begins from December 12, 2016 (online mode) and December 19, 2016 (offline mode). The last date to apply online is April 29, 2017. NCHMCT JEE is a competitive entrance examination conducted for admissions into Hotel Management courses of the institute. 

NCHMCT is an autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. It offers an under graduate programme called Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. It is important to check the detailed NCHMCT JEE Eligibility criteria before applying.


NCHMCT JEE 2017 Exam Dates

Candidates will be required to fill the Application form online from December 12, 2016 to April 14, 2017. The NCHM JEE Exam Dates 2017 are given below in the table:

NCHMCT JEE 2017 Eligibility

It is important to first check the eligibility criteria specified by the authorities before you apply for the exam. Those candidates who are found to be ineligible will not be considered for admission. The NCHMCT JEE Eligibility criteria are given below:

  • Candidate must have passed his 10+2 examination or its equivalent.
  • Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core / elective / functional) in the qualifying examination.
  • Candidates who are appearing for the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for NCHMCT JEE.
  • The age limit to appear for the exam is 22 years for General and OBC categories and is 25 years for SC and ST categories.
  • Candidates who qualify the exam will also need to produce a physical fitness certificate.

NCHMCT JEE 2017 Instructions for Form Filling

There are some important things to be kept in mind while filling the NCHMCT JEE Application Form. The physical application form can be purchased from various centres. Some general guidelines for form filling are given below:

  1. The form is to be filled in English only.
  2. The handwriting should be clear and all information is to be provided in BLOCK letters.
  3. Ensure that the form is complete in all respects to avoid rejection.
  4. Write your full name as given in the Class X or equivalent certificate.
  5. Parents’ names should also match exactly with that given in their certificates.
  6. Do not leave any blocks empty when specifying a word of your full name.
  7. Leave only one block empty between consecutive words of your name.
  8. Date of birth should also be mentioned as given in the Class X certificate.
  9. Darken the appropriate circles to indicate your date of birth.
  10. Similarly, to mark your category and gender, darken the relevant circles.
  11. If you have passed your qualifying exam, mark “passed”. If you are in the final year, mark “appearing”.
  12. For nationality, if you are an Indian, darken the oval for “Indian”. If you belong to any other nationality, darken “Others”.
  13. Mention your complete mailing address with correct PIN CODE and contact number for communication purposes.
  14. Paste a recent colour photograph at the appropriate space provided. Do not self-attest it or staple it.
  15. In the field for Test Centre, mention the centre code which can be found in the List of Centres for JEE.
  16. Verify all information carefully and then sign in the provided space.
  17. Have your parents countersign the application form at the appropriate place, mentioning their relationship to the candidate.
  18. Ensure that the form is handled with care and not folded or mutilated in any way.
  19. No over-writing is allowed in the form so be careful while specifying the details.

NCHMCT JEE 2017 Application Process

There are two ways available for the NCHMCT JEE Application Process. The first one requires the candidates to upload his photograph and signature as part of the application form. The other option allows candidates to apply without uploading any images.

Mailing your completed application form

The filled-in application form will have to be mailed in the pre-addressed envelope to the following address - Catering Technology, A-34, Sector 62, Noida-201309.

Candidates must send their forms by Registered Post or Speed Post to ensure fast and assured delivery. Applications sent through private courier services will not be accepted. The application form must not be folded. Candidates can also submit their applications by hand at NCHMCT, NOIDA.

The last date for receipt of Application Form is April 11, 2016. Any application forms received after the due date will not be accepted. Hence, candidates must complete and mail their applications in time to avoid rejection.

Uploading Images

The candidate needs to upload scanned image of his photograph and signature as part of the application form. The photograph must be a recent, coloured one taken with a white background. The signature must be legible and written with black ink on white paper. The images must be according to the given size and pixel constraints.


NCHMCT JEE 2017 Application Fee

The form fee for NCHMCT JEE application varies according to the category the candidate belongs to. The application process will not be complete without payment of form fee. Hence candidates must know about the fee details, as given below.

Mode of Payment

The candidate has the option to make payment of fee using either online or offline options. Any method can be chosen as per the convenience of the candidate.

In case online method of fee payment is chosen, a credit or a debit card can be used. The candidate will have to enter details such as card number, name on the card, expiry date and CVV to pay the fee.

For offline methods of fee payment, the candidate can make use of Demand Draft option. The Demand Draft would have to be drawn in favour of 'NCHM' and be payable at Noida / Delhi.


NCHMCT JEE 2017 Admit Card

The admit card will be made available on the official website from April 22, 2016 onwards. Candidates must download their hall tickets and take a printout. Admit cards will not be sent by post to individual applicants.

It is advised to check the NCHMCT JEE Admit Card details after downloading. In case of any discrepancy, contact the JEE CELL in the Council through FAX at 0120-2402819 or email to jeenchm@gmail.com. The hall ticket must be carried on the day of the exam along with other important documents.
