MU OET 2017 Admit Card

MU OET 2017 Registration has started from November 1, 2016. Candidates interested in getting admission in Manipal University or its constituent colleges have to appear for MUOET 2017, and must apply before the last date i.e. March 27, 2017. The exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate courses like Engineering, Pharmacy etc. The exam will be conducted from April 24, 2017 to May 17, 2017. 

MUOET 2017 Admit Card can be downloaded online from the official website Manipal University from March 25 onwards till  April 11, 2017. Candidates must carry their admit cards to MU OET Exam Centers. Candidates who have scored 50% in 10+2 to write the exam. The MUOET 2017 Results will be declared on May 24, 2017.

MU OET 2017 Slot Booking

The candidates are required to book their examination slots themselves, via the university’s online test booking system available on official website.

It is a web- based online scheduling system wherein a candidate can check the available test centres and book their online test at a centre, date and time of his or her convenience. The online test booking is done on a first- come- first- served basis and are subject to the availability of the desired slot.

Online Test Booking Password

The MU OET 2017 applicants will be sent the online test booking password well in advance on the email ID, provided on their MU OET 2017 Application Form.

In case an applicant does not receive his/ her password, it must be brought into the notice of the Admission Officer as soon as possible as without this online test booking password, the applicant will be unable to proceed with the other stages of the MU OET such as booking the test slot, downloading the admit card etc.

Important Information regarding MU OET 2017 Online Slot Booking

After the candidate, has submitted his/ her MU OET 2017 Application Form, completed in all respects and on or before the last date of application, the online test booking system will become accessible. The candidates are now required to book their MU OET 2017 examination slot online at official website.

At the time of booking the test schedule online, the candidate must have a photocopy of the submitted MU OET 2017 application form and the online test booking password, received on the provided email ID.

Candidates must remember that once a slot is booked, it cannot be changed later under any circumstances. If slots are not available in a preferred test centre, the candidate may choose to book a slot in another test centre. In case a test centre gets cancelled, due to unavoidable circumstances, the candidates who opted for that cancelled test centre will be allotted another one. Such candidates will be informed of the change in the test centre by the admission office, Manipal University well in advance.

It is the responsibility of the candidates to book the test slot/ schedule themselves, using the online test booking system, within the given time window. The university will not be responsible for any non- bookings of the test slot. The MU OET 2017 test fee will not be refunded in case of non- bookings. After the candidate, has booked the test schedule on the Online Test Booking System, he/ she will receive a confirmation mail on his/ her email ID.

Retaking of the MU OET 2017

A candidate can retake the MU OET 2017, if desired, if he/ she is not satisfied with the performance in the first attempt. The better of the two scores will be taken into account for the merit list. However, the candidate will have to pay again the MU OET 2017 test fee. The option for payment of test fee for the second attempt will be enabled in the Online Test Booking System only after the candidate has given the first attempt.

There is a provision of a third attempt for candidates or B. Tech programmes. It will be applicable only to the candidates who have given first and second attempts. The MU OET 2017 test fee will have to be paid again to book a slot for the third test. The option for payment of test fee for the second attempt will be enabled in the Online Test Booking System only after the candidate has given the second attempt.

Steps for MU OET 2017 Online Slot Booking are given below:

  1. Visit the official website
  2. Click on ‘Admission’.
  3. Click on ‘Online Slot Booking’.
  4. Enter Application Number and Password.
  5. Click ‘Login’
  6. Select the preferred test centre, date and time.
  7. Click ‘OK’.

A confirmation mail will be sent to the email address after the test booking is successful.

How to Download MU OET 2017 Admit Card?

The MU OET 2017 e- Hall Ticket will be generated after 24 hours of booking the test slot using the online test booking system. Steps to download the MU OET 2017 e- Hall ticket are given below:

  1. Visit the official website.
  2. Provide the application number and the online test booking password.
  3. The MU OET 2017 e- Hall Ticket will appear on the screen.
  4. Download it and take two printouts of the same to taken at the test centre on the test day.

A copy of the MU OET 2017 e-Hall Ticket will also be emailed to the candidate on the email ID provided in the application form.

The MU OET 2017 e-Hall Ticket will have the following information about the candidate:

  • Name of the candidate
  • Date of birth, gender and category
  • Roll number of the candidate
  • Examination centre that is allotted and its address

Important Information regarding MU OET 2017 Hall Ticket are given below:

  • The MU OET 2017 e-hall ticket will not be sent to the candidates individually via post or fax.
  • Candidates must take two printouts of the e- hall ticket on A4 size paper only.
  • Candidates must ensure that all the information on the MU OET e- hall ticket is legible and the photograph and the signature are clearly visible.
  • No candidate will be permitted to take the MU OET 2017 without a valid e- hall ticket.
  • Candidates must not disfigure the e- hall ticket, or attempt to change any information on it.
  • The MU OET e- hall ticket is non- transferable.
  • Candidates must preserve the MU OET 2017 e- hall ticket as it is required to be produced at the time of counselling/ admission.

Things to carry along with MU OET 2017 Admit Card

On the test day candidates, must bring with them the following:

  • Two copies of the MU OET 2017 e- hall ticket
  • One photocopy of the MU OET 2017 application form
  • One of any original and valid photo ID: Passport/ Driving License/ EC Voter ID card/ IT PAN card or School/ College photo bearing ID card.

MU OET 2017 Exam Day Instructions

Given below are the important instructions that a candidate must follow on the day of examination: -

  • Candidates must reach the test centre according to the reporting time mentioned in the MU OET 2017 e- hall ticket.
  • They are also required to be present for the pre- test procedure including the registration and the on- site orientation.
  • If a candidate reaches after the on-site orientation has begun, he/ she will not be permitted to take the test.
  • Candidates are required to register their names at the registration counter at the allotted test centre where the e- hall ticket will be authenticated.
  • Candidates should enter the examination hall at least 15 minutes before the start time of the test.
  • Any kind of study material, printed or written, bits of papers or any rough pages, are not allowed in the test hall.
  • Electronic gadgets such as calculators, slide rules, Clark tables, electronic watches with facilities of calculators, laptop or palmtop computers, personal stereo systems, walkie- talkie sets, mobile phones, paging devices or any other objects/ devices are prohibited inside the examination centre.
  • Once you begin your test, no candidate will be allowed to leave the test hall for the entire duration of the test.
  • In case a candidate leaves the examination hall during the test, he/ she will not be allowed to return, under any circumstances.
  • Smoking and consuming any kind of food such as tea, coffee, cold drinks or snacks are not allowed in the examination hall.
  • Family members and/ or friends of the candidates are not allowed inside the test centre
  • Candidates must maintain silence and not disturb others during the test.
  • Every test hall will be monitored using web cameras and closed circuit TV cameras and any kind of disruption or disturbance by a candidate will be deemed as misconduct and may have strict consequences.
  • If any candidate is found using unfair means, or impersonating someone else, his or her candidature will be cancelled and he/ she shall be liable to be debarred from taking the MU OET permanently or for a specified period, as decided by the MU examination authorities.
  • At the end of the examination, the candidates will be required to sign the attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator. The invigilator will also put his/ her signature in the place provided in the MU OET hall ticket.
