MICAT 2017 Result, Score Card and Cut off
MICAT Result for Phase I will be announced online on MICA official website on December 19. 2016. The MICA Admission process is a three step procedure- qualifying CAT 2016, XAT 2017 or GMAT (2015 onwards), qualifying MICAT and qualifying the Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI). The admission is based on the final MICAT resultsannounced by the examination authority after the GE & PI.
MICAT 2017- Phase I (Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad- Admission Test) is scheduled on December 11, 2016. MICAT Registration Phase I has started from September 30, 2016. The primary MICAT Eligibility Criteria is a Bachelor’s degree in any stream or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
However, candidates have to appear and qualify CAT, XAT or in GMAT (2012 onwards). The MICAT is conducted for admission into two year AICTE approved PGDM-C course. For MICAT 2017 also, the examination authority-MICA will conduct the examination in two phases
The candidates can download the MICAT Admit Card 2017 for Phase I from the official website of MICA on December 2, 2017. MICAT 2017 is a Computer Based Test. The MICAT Exam Pattern follows the Multiple Choice Question format. It is divided into 2 papers- Paper 1(4 descriptive questions) and Paper 2 (90 MCQs).

MICAT 2017 Results
MICAT 2017 Results will be declared on the MICA official website on December 19, 2016. After the declaration of MICAT Results, the candidates can download their GD/ PI call letter by logging into to official site using their login ID and password. The candidates can also download MICAT 2017 Score Card to check their performance.
The steps to check MICAT Results are given below:

- Login using User ID and Password.
- Click on ‘check’ to see MICAT 2017 result
- Download and take a printout of MICAT 2017 Score Card
The result of the students appearing for MICAT 2017 is done on the basis of the performance of the candidate. If qualified applicants fails to appear for the GE/ PI on the given date; then his or her candidature will be cancelled. MICAT 2017 Result does not assure that a candidate will get admission in MICA. Once the final MICAT Result is announced, the applicants are required to pay the admission fee and confirm their seats as soon as possible.

MICAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria
It is must for an applicant to check the MICAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria before applying for MICAT . In case a candidate is found ineligible, his or her candidature can be cancelled. The eligibility criteria for MICAT 2017 are given below:
- An applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- Students who are appearing in the final year examination of their Bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply.
- The minimum age of a candidate applying for MICAT 2017 must be 20 years.

MICAT 2017 Registration
The MICAT Registration for Phase II 2017 is an online process. The candidates can apply for MICAT 2017 on the official website of MICA. The candidates have to pay the MICAT fee of of INR 1965/- for 2017. The application fee can be paid either in online or offline mode and it is non-refundable.
Given below are the steps that have to be followed to apply online for the MICA Entrance exam:
Step 1: Registration: Go to the MICA – official website. Click on “Register” Tab. Enter all the details such as Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, and Password carefully. Once the candidates have completed the first step of MICAT Registration, they receive a mail containing the Login Details such as User ID and Password on his or her Email ID.
Step 2: Filling up Application Form: The applicants have to enter the following details -Qualification Details, Personal Details, Employment Details, and average marks in the qualifying examination.Then, Click on the "Click here to Continue" link.
Step 3: Payment of Application Fee
Candidates can pay the MICAT 2017 Application fee via Online /Cash (SBI only)/Demand Draft.
- Click on “Online Payment” button, if a candidate wants to pay application fee using Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card. Download and take a printout of Payment Receipt generated after successful payment of application fee. Click on the “Print” button.
- Select “Payment through SBI Bank” option if a candidate wants to pay the application through cash at SBI Bank. Then, take a printout of the SBI Bank Challan. The MICA Challan copy is to be signed by an applicant and is to be sent at MICA collection centre.
- The Demand Draft is to be drawn in favour of “MICA” payable at Ahmedabad. To pay via this method, a candidate has to select the option “Payment as Demand Draft”. Download the payment advice and take its printout. A candidate has to send the payment advice to the MICA collection centre along with the DD.

MICAT 2017 Admit Card
Applicant must carryMICAT 2017 Admit Card on the day of the examination. The students will not be permitted to enter the test centre without the MICAT Admit Card. Along with MICAT 2017 Admit card, the candidates have to carry a valid Photo ID (PAN Card, Driver’s License, College ID and Voter ID) on the day of the examination. The steps to download the Admit Card for MICAT 2017 are given below:
- Visit the official website of MICA-Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad
- Enter the MICA Registration ID and Password
- MICAT 2017 Admit Card will appear on the screen
- Take a printout of the admit card for future reference

MICAT 2017 Exam Pattern
MICAT 2017 is conducted in online mode (Computer Based Test). The MICAT Exam pattern consists of 2 papers- Paper 1and Paper 2. Paper 1 contains 4 descriptive type questions and Paper 2 contains 90 objective types of questions. There are total 94 questions asked in the MICAT exam.
The candidates will begiven 2 hours 5 minutes to complete the exam. The total marks are not disclosed by the examination authority- MICA. MICAT 2017 exam will be conducted in English Language. There is no negative marking in Paper 1 and Part I of Paper 2. 25% marks will be deducted in case of wrong answer in Part II and PART III of Paper 2.

MICAT 2017 Syllabus
The MICAT Syllabus for 2017 consists of 2 parts. First part comprises of General Awareness and Reasoning sections and second part includes section on Psychometric Test. The sub topics of reasoning section of paper I are: Visual Reasoning, Word Association, Data Sufficiency and Statement Conclusion. The general awareness section of MICAT Syllabus pertain to topics such as advertising, general global awareness, general knowledge, marketing and media. Essay writing does not have a definite syllabus. The candidates are assessed on their writing skills on a given topic in MICAT. Paper II contains 3 different sets of questions designed to evaluate the candidates’ problem solving skills and thought process.

MICA Admissions on the basis of MICAT is a three step procedure. The candidates have to follow the below given steps for MICAT 2017 selection process:
Step-1 The students who want to take admission in MICA, must have appeared for at least any one of the exam such as CAT 2016 /XAT 2017/GMAT (2015 onwards).

GE-PI is done to check the applicant’s leadership quality, overall eligibility for the programme, creativity, knowledge and communication skills.
