NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE/OFFLINE TEST
MAT 2017 (Management Aptitude Test 2017) is a national level entrance exam held for admissions to MBA programme. The registration process for MAT 2017 is now open. The last to apply for MAT 2017 is January 27, 2016. Successfully registered candidates can download the MAT February Admit Card 2017 through online mode on or after January 28, 2017. Every year this exam is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA).
MAT examination is held four times a year usually on the first Sundays of the month February, May, September, and December. MAT 2017 exam for February session will be organized on February 5, 2017 (PBT Mode) and on February 11, 2017 (CBT mode). Candidates who have appeared in the examination can check the MAT February Result 2017 after one week of the examination. Various top B-schools of the country consider the MAT score card for providing admission in their colleges.

The application form for MAT 2017 February is now available. The form is available in both online and offline mode. The following steps are to be followed for the fulfillment of the form for MAT 2017:
The application fees to apply for MAT 2017 is INR 1200. There is no concession for the reserved category students. Students can remit the exam fee through credit/debit/ cash or even a demand draft.
Candidates who wish to attend MAT 2017 must have passed all the below qualifications. They must fulfill the following eligibility criteria. The important points are as follows:
MAT 2017 February Admit Card will be available and can be downloaded on or after 28th January 2017. Successfully registered candidates can download the MAT February Admit Card 2017 through online mode from the official website. The following simple steps are to be followed to download the MAT February 2017 Admit Card:
MAT examination will be held in the online as well as offline mode. The question paper will have a total of 200 questions. There are five sections and each section carries forty marks. Each question will carry one mark only. For every wrong answer ¼ marks will be deducted. The question paper will consist of the five sections mainly language comprehension, mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning and Indian and Global Environment. The marking is given below:

The MAT 2017 exam tests the aptitude skills of the students in different topics. The MAT syllabus consists of total five topics like Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Data Analysis & Sufficiency and Indian and Global Environment. The detailed MAT syllabus 2017 is mentioned below:
|Language Comprehension||This section comprises of two sections i.e. Reading Comprehension and English Vocabulary & Grammar. It contains topics like Verbal Reasoning, Syllogisms, Using the same word with different meaning, Antonyms, Idioms, Contextual Usage, Analogies, One-word substitution, fill in the blanks, Odd man out, Jumbled Paragraphs, Sentence Completion, Sentence Correction and Foreign language words used in English.|
|Mathematical Skills||This part will contain topics like Ratios and proportions, In equations Quadratic & linear equations, Profit and Loss, Geometry, Percentages, Algebra, Averages, Time-Speed-Distance, Geometric Progression, Partnership (Accounts), Number System, Work and Time, HCF & LCM and Vectors.|
|Data Analysis and Sufficiency||The questions of Data Interpretation are mostly based on different graphs such as Puzzles, Series, Table Charts, Data Sufficiency, Bar Graphs, Graphs, Line Charts, Column Graphs, Pie Chart, Venn diagram and many others.|
|General Intelligence and Critical Reasoning||This section contains Mathematical Reasoning& Verbal Ability Question and different topics like Critical Reasoning, Sequencing, Visual reasoning, Coding and Decoding, identifying valid interferences, Assumption-Premise-Conclusion, Statements & Assumptions, Matrix arrangements, Assertion and reasons, Identifying reasons, Linear arrangements, Family tree, Effect & Cause, etc.|
|Indian and Global Environment||The questions from this section will be asked from various topics like Current Affairs, Quotations from important personalities, Geography, History, Business, Major events in corporate, Books and authors, Science, Awards, Company punch lines, Top officials of big companies, Sports, Entertainment, Politics etc.|
MAT 2017 results will be declared within a month after conduction of the exam on the official website of AIMA. No scorecard will be sent to the candidates through post. Results will be declared in the online mode only.
The following steps are to be followed after the result is published:
MAT results and scorecards are valid only for the duration of one year. The merit list is prepared on the basis of the scores obtained in the MAT exam. The merit list will be updated only after the MAT 2017 results are announced. The candidates are advised to keep a printout of their MAT scorecards for further reference in the admission procedure.
The MAT Cutoff will be announced by the official test conducting department, which is AIMA. The admissions to various management institutes via MAT scores will be done on the basis of MAT 2017 cut off, which will be announced after the declaration of the results. AIMA has announced the MAT February dates, according to which the MAT results will be announced by the last week of February and the MAT cut off 2017 will be announced around the same week. Candidates can check tentative MAT Cutoff, based on the previous year below.
