MAH MCA CET (DTE MAHARASHTRA) 2017 RESULT & COUNSELLING
STATE LEVEL ONLINE TEST
The Directorate of Technical Education will declare MCA Common Entrance Test results on 10th of April 2017 at 5:00 PM. The online exam will be held on 27th of March this year. The candidates can check the results of MAHCET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Tests) for MCA 2017 online on the official website. The candidates can login using their application ID and seat number. Thereafter the documents will be verified and updated and the 2017merit list will be announced.
In case if candidates secure equal marks, the merit list will be prepared in accordance to a preference order.
The result of the MAH-MCA-CET 2017 will be displayed on the website. The result will indicate marks obtained by the candidate in the CET. The result will display two separate lists of eligible and not eligible candidates. The candidates can login using their application ID and seat number. Thereafter the documents will be verified and updated and the 2017 merit list will be announced.
One can follow these steps:
It is mandatory to confirm the online application form at the ARCs. Failure to confirm the online application form at the ARCs will make candidate’s name will not appear in the Merit List(s).
1. All the eligible candidates are required to fill in information in the online Application form for Admission.
2. Candidate is required to take a printout of the Online Application Form.
3. The Printout of the online application form will list the required documents for verification.
4. The candidate will have to confirm the online application form at any designated ARC in-person.
5. Candidate is required to produce all Original documents for verification and should submit attested copies of documents.
Score Card is the record of marks a candidate secures in the entrance examination and the rank he or she holds in All India Common Entrance Tests respective of their categories. The marks at the CET would be considered for admission during the current academic year only and would not be allowed to be carried forward to the next year. Hence the validity of score card is one year. The score card shows the marks secured by the candidate in each section. It will also mention rank of candidate across India and category (as applicable) etc. The Provisional Merit lists viz. Maharashtra State Candidates, OMS Candidates and J & K Migrant Candidates will be displayed on website. The Final merit list will be displayed on the website as per the schedule. The score card will be dispatched to the permanent address of the candidate mentioned in the application form by speed post within 15 days after declaration of the result. The duplicate score card will be issued on payment of fee Rs. 200/- through Institute where the candidate has taken the admission.
The cutoff list varies in every institute which accept the score card of MAH MCA CET 2017.
There will be three rounds of Centralized Admission. The CAP shall consist of first two rounds of Centralized Allotment wherein eligible candidates (both Maharashtra and OMS) will fill separate Online Option forms for respective rounds. Third round of CAP shall be conducted by way of counseling only for the eligible Maharashtra State candidates.For Maharashtra State Candidates there are three rounds, wherein the first two CAP rounds includes Direct Allotment, and the third one undergoes Centralized Counselling. There are six stages of counselling for different categories and groups. The students Outside Maharashtra has to go through the similar phases respective of their categories.
In order to participate in the Centralized Admission Process, it is mandatory to fill the Online Option Form for respective CAP Round. Candidates will be able to fill in the online option form through their login on website. It is mandatory for all candidates to confirm the online option form by him/ her. The candidate will not be able to change the Options once it is confirmed. Candidates should not disclose their Application ID & Password to others to avoid impersonation.
Competent Authority shall not be responsible for submissions done by the others on behalf of the candidate. Hence candidates are instructed to keep changing the password and keep note of it. Every institute offering management courses has been allotted a choice code number which is given in the online Information Brochure.
The updated list of MCA institutes is available on the website. The serial number of block in the option form indicates preference of choice. Thus the choice code of the institute filled by the candidate in block No. 1 will be his/her first preference. Option form received through online submission only will be considered valid for further processing. The candidate can fill minimum 1 and maximum 100 options. The candidate has to fill the institute choice code against the option number in the online option form. Candidate has to confirm the submitted on-line Option Form himself/herself by re-entering Application ID and Password. The candidate can take the printout of the confirmed Option form for future reference. OMS candidates are not eligible to participate in the CAP round-III.
