LSAT Application Form 2017

LSAT Application Form filling window becomes functional in April 2017. Candidates have to visit the official website of LSAT to get oneself registered. The law entrance exam is conducted by Law School Admission Council (LSAC) four times during the year 2017-18, starting from June 2017. Following are the steps to be taken by candidate to successfully register for LSAT –

  • Go to official website of LSAC i.e. http://www.lsac.org
  • Go to ‘CREATE NEW ACCOUT’ tab on topmost row of the web page
  • In the dropdown list for ‘SELECT ACCOUNT TYPE’, click on ‘Future JD Student’ and click on the arrow in front of it
  • Candidate will reach the logon page of LSAC
  • Here click on ‘Sign up Now’ tab
  • Candidate will reach ‘Create an Account’ page
  • Candidate should very carefully and correctly fill all the details on the page and recheck it before clicking ‘Submit’ tab
  • Candidate would now have username and password to successfully log in to LSAC account
  • Using this username and password, candidate can register for ‘Registration Accommodation Request’ for preferred date

Application Fee for Exam

After successful establishment of LSAC.org account, candidate can register for LSAT by login into the account using username and password. Application fees for LSAT have to be paid in US dollars. For candidates, registering outside of the United States, the native country’s exchange rate and taxes are likely to impact the fee amount. Following table explains fee structure for LSAT 2017-18 in US dollars

How to Fill LSAT Application Form?

Candidates must follow below listed steps for successfully filling application for exam –

  • Go to http://www.lsac.org/index (official web page of LSAC)
  • Create new account as ‘Future JD Student’
  • Click on ‘Sign up now’ tab to reach ‘Create an Account page’
  • Fill all the information carefully and correctly
  • Create a Username and Password
  • Click on ‘I acknowledge that I have read the Legal Notice and accept all of the terms of use of LSAC.org.’
  • Review details before clicking ‘Submit’ button
  • Submit the application
  • To register for LSAT, candidate needs to login using username and password
  • Pay the application fees through online mode only

How to Retrieve Username or Password

In case candidate forgets username or password, he/she can retrieve it using the following steps –

  • Go to login page of LSAC
  • Click on ‘Forgot your username or password?’ tab
  • Candidate will be directed to a web page where certain information will have to filled for verification
  • After filling information correctly, click on continue tab and candidate will receive an email that contains a code and instructions for how to reset username or password

How to make corrections in LSAT Application Form?

Following details on application form can be modified by submitting a signed and completed LSAC Biographical Information Changes form, along with a copy of identity proof (for verification) –

  • Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Social Security/Social Insurance number
  • Remaining biographical information can be changed by login into LSAC.org account
  • Candidate must send the signed form and identity card to LSAC through –
