LSAT Admit Card

LSAT Admit Card is issued by Pearson VUE for the law entrance exam. It is available online on LSAT Official Website i.e. https://os.lsac.org. It will not be posted or sent via email to any candidate. It is a mandatory document that permits a candidate to enter and sit for the exam. It contains all the details about a candidate and examination.

Listed below are quick facts relating to LSAT Admit Card 2017:

  • Candidates who have successfully filled in LSAT Application Form can download their Admit Card.
  • To access it, one needs to log in using their Username and Password issued at the time of online Registration and upload a photograph in the prescribed format and specifications.
  • Post uploading of photograph, LSAT Admission Ticket can be downloaded.
  • It is necessary to carry a valid Id proof issued by the Government such a license or passport etc. along with the admit card. 
  • Candidates must follow the instructions in the official website if they encounter any sort of problem in viewing or printing LSAT Admit Card.

LSAT is conducted 4 times a year usually in the months of June, September, November/December and February. Attempting the test earlier (June or September) is advisable since it gives candidates the opportunity to improve upon the first attempt and they can have the chance to do better when they retake the test in November or February.


LSAT Dates 

Candidates who observe Sabbath on Saturdays can check for their dates in the official website. It is usually the following Monday. This is not applicable for candidates from Asia. Important dates leading up to LSAT examination are mentioned in the tables below.

How to Download LSAT Admit Card 2017?

LSAT Admit Card is made available for download on official website approximately 2 weeks before the date of examination.  Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to complete the download of LSAT Admit Card 2017.

  • Before initiating download, it must be noted that only candidates who have successfully completed all parts of registration, including payment of test fees, will be eligible to download Admit Card.
  • Visit official website of LSAT i.e. os.lsac.org
  • At the Account Access page, candidates must enter the details (username and password) provided by them at the time of registration.
  • At the new page, candidates can view admission ticket.
  • Candidates must then proceed to upload their photo in the admission ticket. The uploaded photo must meet all required specifications mentioned in the next section.
  • Candidates can then download the 5 page Admission ticket. Out of this, only the first page is required at the Test Center on the Exam Day.
  • Admission tickets without the uploaded photo of candidates will not be made available for printing.  

Photo Upload Specifications: 

  1. A non pixilated, non blurry, recent color photo must be uploaded.
  2. The photo must be exactly 2” x 2” (195px x 195px) in size and must have a plain background.
  3. No other parts, apart from the head and shoulders, should be visible in the photograph.
  4. Photo present in the government issued ID card must not be used again for LSAT Admission Ticket Photo upload. In other words, the photo that is uploaded must be different than the one present in the government approved unique ID.

Details Present in LSAT Admit Card: 

The first page of LSAT Admit Card that must be brought to the exam center contains the following personal and examination center details.

Personal Details:

  1. Name of candidate
  2. Residential address of candidate
  3. Registration Number of Candidate
  4. Photo (as uploaded by candidate in online portal)

Examination and Center Details:

  1. Examination Date
  2. Reporting Time at Test Center
  3. Scheduled Start Time of Examination
  4. Test Center Gates Closing Time
  5. Name of Test Center
  6. Address of Test Center
  • Along with the above details, information regarding documents required on the day of test is also mentioned in the admit card.
  • At the bottom of Admit Card, there is Declaration Section which must be carefully read.
  • Candidates must sign on Admit Card only at the time of examination at the check-in table. Admit Cards that have been signed before the exam are liable to be rejected and candidates will be denied entry as a consequence.

Documents required on Day of Test: 

  1. First page of LSAT 2017 Admission Ticket that includes the photo as uploaded via LSAC Account.
  2. Valid, non-expired Government issued ID proof.  ID proof which has expired on a date, less than 90 days before the date of test is considered valid.

Materials Permitted in the Test Room 

Listed below are the items that are allowed in the test room. Candidates should make sure to carry all the items in a clear plastic zip lock bag (maximum size: 1 gallon/3.79 liters).

  • Valid ID
  • Wallet
  • Keys
  • Medications (including diabetic testing supplies)
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Two to Three No. 2 or HB wooden pencils
  • Highlighter
  • Eraser (No eraser with sleeves)
  • Pencil sharpener
  • Tissues
  • Beverage in plastic container or juice box (maximum size: 591 ml). Other containers are not allowed.
  • Snacks
  • Also, candidates are allowed to wear nondigital (analog) wristwatch. Timing devices of any other sort are not allowed).

Note:The zip lock bag must be stored under the chair and must be opened and accessed only during the break.


Prohibited Items 

There are few items that are not allowed in the test room. All the items are listed below:

  • Electronic timers of any kind
  • Electronic cigarettes
  • Fitness tracking devices
  • Digital watches, alarm watches, beeping watches, calculator watches, chronograph watches (digital or nondigital)
  • Cell phones, beepers, pagers, personal digital assistants (PDAs)
  • Personal computers
  • Calculators
  • Photographic or recording devices
  • Listening devices
  • Headsets, iPods, or other media players
  • Books, dictionaries, papers of any kind
  • Rulers
  • Mechanical pencils
  • Mechanical erasers or erasers with sleeves
  • Ink pens or felt-tip markers
  • Briefcases, handbags, backpacks of any kind
  • Earplugs
  • Hats/hoods (except religious apparel) may not be worn on the head
  • Sunglasses may not be worn
  • Weapons or firearms

Discrepancy in LSAT Admit Card: 

  1. Problem viewing Admission Ticket:

Candidates are advised to use only Adobe Reader 10 or later versions for the purpose of viewing LSAT Admission Ticket. 

Admission Ticket opens in a new Adobe Pop up Window. Candidates must ensure any pop up blockers are not enabled at that time.

  1. Some information not displayed:

Safari browser is the default browser for OS X users which opens the file in Preview. If the entire document is not displayed, users can open the file use Adobe Reader.

Firefox browser has its own software to display PDF files. If information is not displayed correctly, go to Tools menu and click on the Applications tab available under the Options subhead. All default programs linked to each file extension are displayed. For all Adobe Forms Document listed in the Content Type column, change to Use Adobe Reader (default).


Test Day Guidelines 

  • Candidates must ensure that they get LSAT Admit Card along with a valid Government Issued Id proof to the test center.
  • Candidates must along bring sharpened pencils and erasers as these will not be provided.
  • Candidates must report at the center preferably a few minutes before the stated reporting time in Admit Card.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the test center once the examination begins.
  • Candidates must check the list of prohibited items in the official website and make sure they are not in possession of any of the material. If any candidate is found to be in possession of such an item, it will lead to disqualification.
  • Candidates must sign on LSAT Admit Card only in the check-in counter in the center.
  • Upon completing check-in formalities, candidates must take their allotted seats.
  • A 15 minute break is given after completion of Section 3. Candidates must refresh within the vicinity of the test room and must not attempt to indulge in any malpractice in this time.

My LSAT registration number is 51600985907. I am not able to download my LSAT admit card. I get the following error: TCPDF ERROR: [Image] Unable to get image: images/custom/exam_89/985907.jpg. Please do the needful and let me know how to go about it.
