KMAT Result 2017 by KPPGCA

KMAT Result 2017 will be announced on August 07, 2018. Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA), conducting body will release the results in online mode. To check it, candidates have to visit the official website of KMAT i.e. kmatindia.com.

Listed below is information about KMAT Result:

  • KMAT Results will be released in the form of Score cards
  • The results will be displayed as Net scores with Percentile in KMAT score card.
  • The scores are accepted by more than 169+ well-known AICTE approved University – affiliated B-Schools in Bangalore and Karnataka.
  • Apart from MBA programs, it provides the selected candidates in other management courses like PGDM and MCA.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is a state level management entrance exam. Candidates seeking admissions to MBA/ PGDM or MCA Programs offered in Karnataka or Bangalore state can appear for the exam. The exam is conducted every year by KPPGCA. The conducting body has scheduled KMAT 2017 for July 30, 2017. 


How to Check KMAT 2017 Result               

The results for KMAT 2017 will be available online from August 07, 2017. KPPGCA has introduced a separate website for Karnataka Management Aptitude Test. To view the results or score card of KMAT, follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of KMAT 2017 i.e. kmatindia.com.

Step 2: Click on KMAT Result Tab as highlighted below:

Step 3: Click on the tab and login to your account. Enter the required credentials as provided at the time of KMAT Registration. Details to fill in the dialog box to access the result or score card is as follows:

  • Candidate’s Name
  • Date of Birth (DOB)
  • Roll Number

Step 4: After providing all the details, click on ‘Submit’ tab. The result will then appear on the screen. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of KMAT scorecard.

KMAT Counselling cum Selection Procedure

Post declaration of result, the counselling process for final admissions will commence. All the qualified candidates are informed that KPPGCA will not hold any centralized counselling for admissions. Institutes/ Universities accepting KMAT Scores will organise separate counselling sessions as per their own schedule. It is advised to keep a regular check on all KMAT Participating Colleges official websites to know about the admission procedure via KMAT 2017. 

Documents Required at the time of KMAT Counselling

The candidates who are selected through the test will appear for the counselling process. At the time of final admissions, there are few documents that a candidate must produce when their name or rank is called out. Failure of doing so will lead to cancellation of canddidature:

  • KMAT Counselling Letter – issued by the authority and the college selected. 
  • KMAT Admit Card/ Hall Ticket 
  • Bank Draft duly signed by a Gazetted Officer – make sure to make the draft as per the guidelines mentioned in KMAT Prospectus.
  • Class 10th and 12th passing certificates
  • Class 10th and 12th school leaving certificates
  • KMAT Score card 
  • Graduation Degree – Candidate in the last year of college, must bring the provisional certificate issued by the college.
  • Caste/ Community Certificate from a competent authority for candidates belonging to reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/Other).
  • Medical documents as mentioned in KMAT Application form.
  • 4-6 passport size photos colored as well as black and white.
  • Other supportive documents as mentioned in the KMAT Application form.

Note: Candidates must carry an origional as well as 3 to 4 photocopies of each document. For verification purposes, the admission authority will keep the documents and return the same at later stages.
