KMAT KERALA 2017 RESULT & COUNSELLING

Kerala Management Aptitude Test popularly known as KMAT Kerala is the state level Management Entrance for admission in Management colleges across Kerala. The first phase of KMAT Kerala 2017 was held on November 6, 2016. Exam was conducted under the supervision of MG University at 7 centers spread across several districts of Kerala. KMAT Kerala 2017Result is announced on the official site of organizing authority ASC (Admission Supervisory Committee, Kerala).
Candidates on the basis of rank in KMAT Kerala will be shortlisted for group discussion and interview process in various universities. Candidates can download the KMAT Kerala Scorecard from Nov. 25, 2016 to May 31, 2017. ASC has also stipulated the KMAT Kerala Cutoff for different categories. The final rank list would be based on the cumulative performance of candidates in the written test, group discussion and interview.
The result for KMAT Kerala is uploaded on the official site of ASC. The total aggregate marks of Kerala KMAT is 720 and candidates must obtain the requisite qualifying marks in KMAT Kerala 2017. The result indicates the total marks obtained by a candidate as well as score obtained individually in all 4 sections. Candidates can also check their KMAT Kerala Rank in the result list.

Candidates must possess the KMAT Kerala Scorecard for applying to participating colleges. The document has to be retained and produced during the admission procedure. The score card for KMAT Kerala is available online from November 25 and will remain available till May, 31 2017, which is also the closing date of MBA admissions for the academic year 2017-18. The examination authority will not entertain any request to issue scorecard past this date.

Cutoff determines the eligibility criteria for a student. The candidates who have appeared for the KMAT Kerala 2017 must obtain the minimum cutoff score in order to qualify the examination and apply for admission into participating management colleges as well as other autonomous management colleges in Kerala. The qualifying score would be applicable for this academic session only.
The category-wise KMAT Kerala 2017 Cutoff scores fixed for the MBA admissions in academic session 2017-18 is mentioned below:

NOTE: It must be noted that KMAT Kerala does not consider rounding off of marks obtained in the examination. Score of 98.9 shall remain 98.9 and not treated as 99. A candidate who scores 107.9 shall remain unqualified to take part in admission procedure of the MBA program.
As per the directive laid down by the Admission Supervisory Committee (ASC) on November 24, 2015, the ratio adopted during the final procedure with the above mentioned cut off marks shall be 80:10:10 for the entrance examination, group discussion and interview respectively.
There is no centralized counseling process for KMAT Kerala. The participating institutes conduct their individual selection process. However institutes must adhere to the weightage ratio as mentioned above during admission procedure. All the candidates must have to apply for admission to individual colleges/institutions.
Apart from the KMAT Kerala score, colleges will also consider the scores of CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) and CAT (Common Admission Test). The qualifying cutoff marks for CAT and CMAT would be at par with the qualifying cut off marks of KMAT Kerala, as mentioned above.
