KMAT Kerala 2017 is scheduled on April 02, 2017. The registration for KMAT 2017 concluded on April 18. Admit Card for the exam is available at lbscentre.in/kmat2017/frmscorecardlogin.aspx.The last date to download the KMAT Admit Card is March 31, 2017. It is a mandatory document to be carried at all stages till the admission is confirmed.
KMAT Kerala (Kerala Management Aptitude Test) is a prerequisite for admission to MBA programs offered by various management colleges and B-schools in Kerala. The state level exam will be conducted by MG University, Kerala. The exam is conducted in 2 Phases. Phase 1 concluded on November 6, 2016 and the results were also released in following week. KMAT 2017 will be conducted in Offline mode. This year, the time duration for the exam is reduced to 2 hours 30 minutes from 3 hours. KMAT Kerala 2017 Eligibility
It is important to satisfy the set KMAT Kerala Eligibility standards before filling the KMAT Kerala Application Form. The criteria are issued by the MG University, Supervised by Admission Supervisory Committee. For the purpose of admissions to MBA courses in various colleges affiliated to different Universities of Kerala, only the score of CAT/CMAT or KMAT Kerala would be considered valid.

- Candidates should have completed their Bachelors’ Degree of minimum 3 years duration. The degree should be from any recoganised education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering / Technology or equivalent.
- Candidates who are appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply, provided their results are declared before the commencement of admission process.
- One should have secured at least 50 per cent of marks in the aggregate. For SC/ST category candidates, 40 per cent aggregate is required.

How to Apply for KMAT Kerala 2017?
Candidates have to complete all the steps to accomplish KMAT Kerala 2017 Application Form. The steps involved are explained below.
Step 1: Submitting the Application Fee
The first step of KMAT Kerala 2017 is to pay the required KMAT application fee. Candidates have to deposit the requisite fee by registering themselves on the official website of KMAT Kerala 2017: http://lbscentre.in/kmat2017/. The applicants have to fill certain details such as
- Name of applicant,
- DOB (Date of Birth),
- Valid Email Id and
- Mobile Number.
Candidates can remit the fee online via Debit card/Credit Card/Net Banking. After successful payment, the applicants will receive an “SB Collect Reference Number” along with a receipt of payment of fee. One should make sure to preserve them for future use.
Step 2: Completing Online Submission
Candidates can complete and submit the application form after 24 hours of depositing the application fee. They have to re-login using the ‘SB Collect Reference Number’ and “Date of Birth”.
The next step is to upload the photograph and fill in the remaining details. Also, exam center is to be selected while filling the KMAT Kerala 2017 Application Form. Candidates can indicate a maximum of 3 preferences for exam centers.
After completing the whole form, review all the details entered and click on the “Save” button. The applicants should take a print out of the KMAT Kerala Application Form at the end.

KMAT Kerala 2017 Exam Pattern
KMAT Kerala Exam Pattern 2017 consists of objective type questions (Multiple Choice Questions). From this year, the duration of the exam will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The examination will be conducted in offline mode. The medium of paper is English. The paper will have 180 questions from 4 sections namely – English Language Usage & Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Sufficiency & Logical Reasoning and General Knowledge & Contemporary Business Scenario. Each question carries 4 marks. The total marks allotted for the entrance test is 720.

KMAT Kerala 2017 Syllabus
KMAT Kerala 2017 like most of the MBA entrance tests conducted in the country is a graduate level exam. The syllabus for the test is also similar to other MBA entrance exams like CAT or CMAT. KMAT Kerala 2017 Syllabus is based on the 4 subjects-
- English Language and Reading Comprehension
There will be total 50 questions from this section. This section primarily contains questions from topics such as English grammar, Vocabulary and Language Usage, Comprehension Passage, etc.
- Quantitative Aptitude
The questions are based on topics such as Arithmetic, Algebra, Mensuration, Calculus, Geometry, etc.
- Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning
This section is an assessment of the candidate’s ability to analyze and interpret data. The questions are framed in the form of various graphs, pie charts, charts, etc. in the data sufficiency section. There are 40 questions in this section.
- General Knowledge and Contemporary Business Scenario
This section is worth 40 marks also. It covers various questions from the latest current affairs and trending topics of the year. The candidates should read newspapers, business journals, and magazines regularly to gain a stronghold over this subject.

Candidates can check the KMAT 2017 Results of Kerala from the LBS official website only. The results for the MBA entrance exam for Phase 2 will tentatively release in May 2017. KMAT Kerala 2017 Cutoff
The minimum marks required for qualifying in KMAT Kerala 2017, as stipulated by ASC, Kerala, is mentioned in the table below. There will be no rounding off marks to the nearest whole number. Suppose, the KMAT Kerala score is 107.8 out of 720 then the score would not be considered as 108. The qualifying cut off marks for CAT and CMAT will be same and at par with the qualifying cut off marks of KMAT.
KMAT Kerala 2017 Admission Process
Candidates have to apply for admission to individual colleges/institutions. For the purpose of admitting candidates on basis of CAT/CMAT/KMAT scores, ASC (Admission Supervisory Committee) will consider the following total score of each exam to prepare the KMAT Kerala 2017 cutoff. The weightage given to Entrance Examination, Group Discussion and interview is 80:10:10 respectively.
