KMAT 2017: Application Form, Admit Card, Exam Pattern
KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test), 2017 is a state level common entrance exam held for the candidates who seek admission in various MBA/PGDM and MCA programs offered by the top most B-Schools of Bangalore and Karnataka. KMAT is conducted every year by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association). The questions asked in KMAT 2017 is designed to check candidates’ Quants and LR Skills with their Verbal and General ability.
KMAT Application Process will start from May 20, 2017. Candidates can fill the form till July 25, 2017. KMAT Eligibility Criteria states that the candidates need to have a graduate degree before filling the KMAT Application Form. If he/ she qualifies the criteria, then they can go ahead and fill the form, available on KMAT Official Website.

KMAT 2017 Important Dates
The dates for all the stages of KMAT 2017 is mentioned below. Candidates can check the date sheet to keep themselves updated about the processes of KMAT 2017.

Candidates have the option to apply through Online or Offline Mode. The registration for KMAT 2017 will start in the month of April, so all the interested candidates should make sure to visit the official website and get themselves registered for KMAT Exam.
KMAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates appearing for KMAT Exam must fulfill minimum requisite qualifications to be eligible for KMAT 2017. All the candidates can go through the criteria on which they will be considered qualified to take the exam.
- For KMAT MCA 2017, candidates must have completed their graduation degree with percentage of 50% or more. Candidates must have chosen Mathematics as main subject either in their graduation or in 10+2.
- For KMAT MBA 2017, candidates must have completed their graduation degree with a minimum of three years’ duration or Master’s degree examination of any recognized education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent subject. Candidates belonging to SC/ST Category should have secured 40% or more to apply for KMAT MBA. The Eligibility and relaxation to reserved category candidates are decided as per UGC Guidelines.
- It is important for the KMAT candidates to have recognized bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration or equivalent in any disciple with 50% marks. Candidates in their final year of Bachelor’s degree can also apply for KMAT 2017. Such candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree before the time of KMAT 2017 Admission. Candidates must have secured percentage equal to or more than minimum requisite percentage as per their exam and their category. In case candidate is unable to produce necessary documents supporting their claim of completion of Bachelor’s degree, they will be removed from the process thereafter.

KMAT 2017 Application Process
Candidates can register for KMAT 2017 at the official website- www.kmatindia.com in the first week of April. Information such as Name, contact number and email id is required to register for KMAT 2017. An amount of INR 1000 is to be paid by the candidates in form of application fee. The amount is to be paid only through Demand Draft and no other mode of payment is available to the candidates. Details about DD is required during Application process. The last date to apply for KMAT 2017 is July 25, 2017. No applications will be accepted by KPPGCA after the last date. Steps mentioned below should be followed to register for KMAT 2017.
- Go to the official website
- Click on “Apply Now” from the menu bar
- Click on “Register Online” to proceed.
- Read the instructions carefully.
- Fill in the required details
- Fill in the DD details carefully
- click “Apply”
- Obtain hard copy of completed Application Form.
Note: Candidate registering for MBA/PGDM and MCA both will be required to register separately for each course. Two KMAT 2017 Admit Card will be generated to the candidates for each exam. Candidates are required to present respective admit cards for KMAT 2017 exams. Candidates are advised to carry hard copy of Completed Application Form to the Test Centre.

KMAT 2017 Admit Card
KMAT 2017 Admit Card will be available for download at the official website from July 28, 2017. Admit Card is a mandatory document and is required at each stage of KMAT 2017. It contains information about the candidate and KMAT 2017 Exam viz. candidate’s name, Enrollment Number, Exam applied for along with the KMAT Test Centres, date and timings. Guideline are mentioned on the KMAT 2017 Admit Card. Candidates are expected to follow the mentioned guidelines for smooth conduct of KMAT 2017 Examination.
Admit Card is a provisional document used as a verification card during all the stages of KMAT 2017. It must be seconded by a valid Photo Id issued by Govt. of India. In absence of valid Photo Id, candidate’s identity may be doubted and such applicants are liable to be rejected.
Candidates are advised to check and verify all the details mentioned on the KMAT 2017 admit card. The details on the admit card should match with details provided during KMAT Application Process. Any mismatch in the information will result in rejection of candidate from the process. Any error, misprint or discrepancy in the KMAT Admit Card must be communicated immediately to the KPPGCA authorities at the following address.

KMAT 2017 Exam Pattern
KMAT 2017 Exam is conducted in pen paper mode to intake students for MBA/PGDM/MCA to various B-Schools in Bangalore and Karnataka. The KMAT 2017 Exam is of two hours (120 minutes). The total number of questions asked in KMAT (MBA/MCA/PGDM) 2017 is 120 divided among 4 sections viz. Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and General Science. There is no negative marking. Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer. No marks will be awarded/deducted for questions not attempted. Questions asked in KMAT 2017 is of moderate level and Secondary standard. Main aim of questions asked in KMAT 2017 Exam is to judge the candidates on the basis of their ability to solve problems quickly and correctly.
