KEAM (CEE KERALA) 2017 RESULT & COUNSELLING

The candidates can check the KEAM Result on the official website of CEE KEAM. The tentative date for declaration of KEAM 2017 Result is May 25, 2017. Candidates can check the KEAM by entering the application number and roll number in the blank fields provided.
By second week of June, CEE Kerala starts the Centralized Allotment Process through which KEAM seat Allotment is conducted. Apart from KEAM Result, KEAM Rank Lists are uploaded on the official website of CEE Kerala based on which the examination authority completes the KEAM Allotment process in multiple rounds.
Minimum 10 marks in each paper is the basic criteria for preparation of KEAM Rank List. KEAM Rank list for Engineering is prepared by considering marks secured in each subject in board and entrance exam in the ratio 50:50. For architecture program, candidates with 40% marks in NATA will qualify for admissions through KEAM.
The whole admission process is performed on specific dates as declared by KEAM. All the candidates participating in KEAM 2017 should stick to the important dates to avoid any confusion. Presented below in the table, is a list of important KEAM Exam dates

KEAM 2017 Results will be uploaded on the official website of CEE KEAM. Given below are the steps that the candidates must follow to check the KEAM 2017 Result.
Every year CEE Kerala releases KEAM Result Analysis and KEAM Rank List Analysis. This includes statistical analysis of the number of participants that takes the exam, number of participants that have cleared the examination, the toppers’ list, number of seats filled and so on. A list of KEAM 2016 Toppers has also been released with the result. Ram Ganesh V from Ernakulam has topped KEAM 2016. He scored 592.7919 out 600 in the exam and securing AIR 1.
KEAM 2016 was successfully conducted by the CEE (Commissioner for Entrance Examination) on April 25 and 26 as Paper 1 and Paper 2 respectively for admissions to engineering courses in Kerela. Paper 1 consists of Physics and Chemistry and Paper 2 is Mathematics. With 14 revenue districts in Kerela, KEAM 2016 was also held in New Delhi, Mumbai and Dubai.

In the Rank list of KEAM 2017 Toppers, AIR 2 and AIR 3 belongs to Akshay Anand from Tiruvalla and Ashwin S Nair from Trivandrum respectively.
The KEAM Answer Key will be released by the conducting authority CEE after the exam. It will help the students to assess their performance by tallying their answers marked in the OMR sheets with the answers in the released answer key.

The KEAM Rank List includes all the candidates who have qualified in the KEAM 2017.The rank list will be prepared on the basis of the KEAM 2017 Result and the class XII marks of the candidate in a 50:50 ratio.
The rank list will be separate for each course- Engineering, Architecture, Medical & allied courses and BAMS course.

To qualify and to become eligible for KEAM rank list in Medical/ Engineering, a candidate has to score a minimum of 10 marks in each paper I and paper II of the examination. The candidates who fail tosecure the minimum marks will not be eligible.
SC/ST category students are exempted from any such criteria of minimum marks requirement. Candidates who fail to answer at least 1 question in each paper will be disqualified.
For architecture Programme, only those candidates who have scored a minimum of 40% marks or 80 marks out of 200 marks in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) are eligible. The candidates are advised to qualify in the NATA sufficiently earlier than June 5, 2017.
In case, two or more candidates have secured the same scores then CEE will follow a tie-breaking process to allocate the ranks to the candidates. The tie breaking procedure will be different for medical, architecture and engineering courses. The various parameters for tie-breaking are indicated below in their order of applicability.
Note: The same principle will be followed in case of a tie in the Ayurveda rank list preparation.
These lists indicate a candidate’s position/ rank in their respective category. The category list is prepared on the basis of the rank lists for the various courses offered and also based upon the documents submitted by the candidates of the different categories supporting it. It is important to note that by merely figuring in the list, admission is not guaranteed unless the candidate qualifies the other eligibility criteria for admission.
In case of any complaints regarding the provisional category list, the same may referred to the Complaints made should be done within the time frame as notified by the CEE.Complaints received after the given duration of time shall not be entertained.
