Karnataka CET 2017 Form Correction, Hall Ticket
KCET 2017 (Karnataka CET) is a state level entrance exam conducted by KEA for admissions to the first year of full-time professional courses. KEA announces exam dates for the Karnataka CET. KCET is scheduled in pen and paper format on two different dates i.e. May 02 and May 03, 2017.
Candidate must have passed Class XII or PUC (Pre-University Exam) with Science subjects to apply for the exam. Seats across different courses are reserved for various categories as per the prevailing norms of Government of Karnataka.Check KCET 2017 Reservation
KCET 2017 Online Application must be submitted online on kea.kar.nic.in by March 10, 2017. The application fee is INR 750 for Outside Karnataka candidates while it is INR 650 (INR 500 for reserved categories) for general category candidates residing in Karnataka.
The KCET Application Form Correction window opened from March 14, 2017 and ended on March 31, 2017. Enter User ID and Password and generate OTP on the registered mobile number. Also, enter the security code to proceed with the process.
The candidates who submit the edited applications by March 31, 2017 can donwload their KCET Hall ticket from the official website. Enter the application number and date of birth at kea.kar.nic.in to download the hall ticket for KCET 2017.
KCET 2017 Exam Dates

KCET 2017 Application Form
KCET Online Applications have to be submitted by March 08, 2017 on the official website of KEA. The candidates have to undergo a two phase registration process which commences from January 27, 2017.
The first phase of KEA Registration is creating a new user profile by setting a login ID and password. After that, enter the student’s information given and submit the same. Also, upload scanned images of your photo, signature, left hand thumb impression and parent’s signature.
Note: Candidates are advised to print the Karnataka CET Application Form and check for mistakes or incorrect information. Login again to edit the information before confirming the declaration.
In the second phase of KEA Registration, confirm the declaration and then you receive the application ID and password. Then upload, the recent passport size photo and signature in JPEG format. After that, print the bank challan and submit the application fee at the nearest branch of specified banks or e-post offices.
Application fee can be paid via Bank Challan or Demand Draft. DD must be drawn in favour of ‘Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority’, payable at Bangalore. The candidates can check the application fee of KCET 2017 exam:

KCET 2017 Reservation
Reservation Criteria of KCET 2017 is applicable for candidates belonging to Scheduled castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other backward classes. The candidates belonging to Karnataka can claim for the seats reserved. The candidates of SC/ST/OBC group should fall under 1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B categories. There are special categories also, through which candidates can get admission by appearing in KCET 2017. Some of these categories are: NCC; Sports; Scouts and Guides; Defence; Ex-defence; Physically Handicapped; Anglo-Indian; Central Armed Police Force; Ex-Central Armed Police Force.
The candidates who belong to Ex-Central Armed Poilce will be alloted seats according to merit only. Provision of Reservation for candidates of Hyderabad is also there in the norms of KCET 2017. The candidates belonging to districts of Bidar, Gulbarga, Yadgir, Raichur, Koppal and Bellary shall be regarded as the local area.
KCET 2017 Eligibility
Candidates interested in KCET can apply for the official website.You are advised to ensure that you hold the following eligibility before applying for the exam :-
- Nationality- The applicant should be citizen of India.
- Candidates must be class 12th pass with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Candidates also have Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer-Science/Electronics/Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study.
- An aggregate of 45% marks must be secured in optional subjects.
KCET 2017 Exam Pattern
The questions will be asked from 4 subjects namely Biology, Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. Each paper will be of 60 marks. Time duration of each paper is 80 minutes.Questions will be of objective type. For every correct answer you will get 1 mark. No negative marking is applicable.

KCET 2017 Results
The KCET 2017 Results will be published on May 28, 2017.Candidates can check their result on the official website of KEA. Counselling process will start within 15 days of declaration of the result. After the declaration of results candidates document verification will be done by KEA University.

KCET 2017 Answer key
KEA Authority will release the answer keys after the declaration of result. It expected to be be published on the official website by May 19, 2017. Firstly the authority will publish a provisional answer key. This key will be liable for challenge.Candidates will be given a period of 3 days to challege it. After that a final answer key will be released, Based on which actual marks of the candidates will be determined and results will be declared.
