KARNATAKA PGCET (KEA) 2017 RESULT & COUNSELLING

Karnataka PGCET (Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) is conducted for admissions to full-time or part-time Master’s Degree courses. It is held by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Karnataka PGCET 2017 results will be announced in third week of July, 2017. Candidates can check Karnataka PGCET results online on the official website of KEA.
Karnataka PGCET Answer Key is scheduled to be held after 3 days after the commencement of the exam. Preparation of Karnataka PGCET Merit List is based entirely on the marks obtained in entrance Test for MBA, MCA, M. Tech/ME/M. Arch courses.
Karnataka PGCET 2017 examination is scheduled to be held in first week of July, 2017. Candidates have to wait for 3 days after the exam is conducted successfully to have access to the answer key for K PGCET 2017.
In case candidates/parents/lecturers find any problems in the answer key, they can file their objections within three days of the release of the answer key. Candidates will have to attach all the documents and justifications along with the objection, if justifications are not given the objection shall stand inconsiderable. Also, those received after the last date shall not be considered. The objections submitted by the candidates shall be analyzed by an Expert Committee (KEA) and their decision will be final in this regard.
GATE score of 2016 and 2017 will be valid for three 3 years only from the date of announcement of the result. In case score is above the qualifying marks, candidate shall be eligible to apply for M.E. /M. Tech. courses.
The other condition which follows is that the GATE score shall be considered valid if it is equal or above the score decided as qualifying marks. Candidate with lesser score than the qualifying marks will have to appear for PGCET 2017 examination.
Candidates must mention either their PGCET number or computer generated application serial number along with complete postal address and phone number for all future correspondence with KEA.

Karnataka PGCET 2017 exam result will be declared in the third week of July, 2017. Candidates can check the results online by visiting the official website of KEA. Once the results are declared, a merit list will be prepared on the basis of score obtained in Karnataka PGCET 2017 and candidates will be called for counselling session accordingly.
Candidates must attend the counselling only if they have requisite percentage of marks in qualifying examination. Candidates belonging to General Category must pass with 50% aggregate marks for all the years of Degree examination, while SC/ST, OBC candidates must have minimum 45% aggregate marks for all the years of degree examination.
Karnataka PGCET Merit list will be prepared with the names of those candidates who are able to score more than the qualifying marks predefined by KEA for K PGCET 2017 examination.
Karnataka PGCET 2017 Merit List will be prepared after the results of the examination are announced. Candidates must note that KEA will release the merit list on the basis of marks scored by candidate in Karnataka PGCET 2017 examination only. The qualifying marks will not be included while preparing the merit list, these marks are considered only for eligibility.
The merit list will comprise of information such as Application Number, PGCET number, Name of the candidate, Gender, version code, Karnataka PGCET Score and Rank. To be eligible to attend counselling session, candidate must be eligible in all respects and mere assignment of merit to candidate will not confer any rights to select the seat.
