JUET 2018 Result

University of Jammu conducts JUET (Jammu University Entrance examination) for aspirants seeking admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the field of arts and sciences. The exam is held at state level and is conducted by the government of Jammu. There are about 157 colleges affiliated to University of Jammu. The result for JUET 2018 will be announced by the university in the last week of June, 2018.

JUET Result will have a break up no of marks achieved by the candidate in the entrance exam. The board releases the result and cut off declaring the qualifying status of the candidate. All participating institutes release a cut-off for admissions. A merit list is prepared for the allotment of seats based on the candidates’ marks and rank.

After the declaration of the result of Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET), candidates have to apply to the concerned Department with all the relevant documents including Entrance Test Score Card.

Candidates who have qualified JUET 2018 with the required qualifying percentage are required to further fill another application form on the same official website of Jammu University. The qualifying percentage for the General Category candidates is 30%

  • The result will be announced online on the official website.
  • The candidate will be directed to the result link to check the mark obtained in the entrance.
  • Within a week, their rank card will be released.
  • It is expected that the results for JUET 2018 will be announced by the first week of June
  • Candidates who clear the JUET2018 entrance test with the cut-off marks will be asked to appear in the counselling procedure for the allotment of seats.
  • For candidates seeking admission for PG and UG courses offered at Jammu University, the admission criteria remain the same- where 75% weightage will be given to academic merit and the rest 25% weightage would be given to JUET 2018 score.
  • Generally, there are two rounds of counseling. But the number of rounds is entirely based on the availability of seats.

A separate notification shall be issued subsequently in this regard and list of students selected for admission shall be released and notified by the Admission Committee of the Department concerned.

JUET 2018 Answer key

If any student wants to know his/her scores before the release of actual results, he can do so by confirming his responses with the responses which will be given in the answer key.

The answer key is expected to be released on June 21st, 2018, before the announcement of results.

The students can calculate their presumptive total marks by awarding him 1 mark for every correct answer and no deductions for the wrong answer.


How to check JUET Result 2018 

The JUET 2018 result will be available in online mode by last week of June. The results can be checked through a link that will be placed on the website. No individual notification will be sent to the applicants.

  • The applicants will be able to access the JUET result 2018 from the link which will be provided here as soon as it is released. Or alternately they can check the website  www.juet.in for the result link.
  • Application number, password and date of birth are required to check the result.
  • Press the “submit” button
  • The result will appear on the screen
  • Candidates are advised to download the result.

  • Total Score

JUET 2018 Rank/Merit List

A rank/merit list is declared by the admissions committee of the concerned department after the release of the results.

The rank list is created with 75% weight given to academic merit and 25% to the entrance exam score. 

Candidate shortlisted on the above mentioned criteria will be allowed to participate in the counseling process.


JUET Counselling 2018

The rankings of the applicants will be based on the scores of the applicant and his/her eligibility. Candidates will be called for the counselling according to their ranks. Candidates will have to register online for the counseling session.

Seats will be allotted according to the ranks. Selected applicants will have to report at their institute and pay the required fees to confirm their admission.

How to register for JUET Counselling

  • Register online for counseling rounds by accessing Jammu university official website
  • Fill personal details – Name, date of birth etc and then enter application number as well as exam rank and score.
  • Take a printout of the choice-filling form which will state the course you applied for and keep it for future reference
  • Wait for counseling results to be declared
  • Once the result is declared, you will be able to download your provisional offer letter
  • Report to the institute allotted in the offer letter and pay fees.
  • Please note that all candidates will have to bring relevant documents for verification. Admission is subject to fulfillment of all eligibility criteria, which includes verification of documents.
