JKLU MET 2018 (JK Lakshimpat University Management Entrance Test) is a university level exam conducted every year for admitting aspirants into various MBA programs offered by the institute. It will be conducted around the 1st week of April 2018. Aspirants can see the updated notifications as also download the prospectus from the official website www.jklu.edu.in .

  • The registration for JKLU MET 2018 will begin in the month of February 2018.
  • Application forms can be filled by both offline and online mode. Students will be required to enter general details about themselves and their educational qualifications in order to apply for the exam.
  • JKLU MET 2018 will be conducted in the offline mode.
  • The exam will comprise of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs).

JKLU MET 2018 Eligibility

The eligibility criterion for JKLU MET 2018 is as set up by the university. Participants must make sure that they meet the eligibility requirements before applying for the entrance exam or else there application will be rejected. The various criteria are as stated below:

Nationality: Citizens of India as well as applicants of foreign origin can apply for the management exam. However, the admission process of foreign candidates will differ and will be conducted separately.

Education Qualification

  • Participants must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) in any field from a recognized university/ institute.
  • They should have secured a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST category) or equivalent CGPA in the final exam of the graduation degree.
  • Applicants who are in their final year of graduation are eligible to apply for the entrance test.
  • Preference will also be given to candidates having a valid score in CAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT and ATMA.

Selection Criteria

  • Preference will be first given to the candidates on the basis of scores obtained in CAT, MAT, XAT and other national level exams on the basis of merit.
  • Applicants will be shortlisted and invited for Group Discussion and Personal interview.
  • Selection of individuals will depend on the scores in the qualifying admission test and performance in the group discussion and personal interview.
  • Each round will be given due weightage which will be used to deduce a composite score. The weightage given for each component are as follows:

  • Students with some work experience will also be awarded certain points for calculating the final score.
  • Admissions to seats that remain vacant after the above rounds shall be made on the basis of merit in qualifying examination considering all subjects.

JKLU MET 2018 Application Form

JKLU MET 2018 Application forms can be filled by both online and offline mode. Aspirants can visit the official website of JKLU for filling the online application form. They can also download the form and submit it along with the fees at the institute. Application forms will also be available at the university office. 

Students can apply via the online mode by following the simple steps stated below:

Step 1: Registration

  • To register for JKLU MET 2018, applicants must log on to the official website of the university and click on ‘Apply Now’ for the respective program.
  • They should enter a few basic details such as Name, Date of Birth, Email-id, Mobile Phone Number, Course opted for, etc for the purpose of registration. Click on ‘Submit’.
  • Students will receive an SMS and email on their registered mobile number and email address indicating their unique login ID and Password.

Step 2: Application Form

  • Individuals must login using the credential provided in the SMS or mail and start filling the application form.
  • They will be required to submit personal details, address for correspondence and information regarding past academic records.
  • Students must then upload a recent, passport-sized photograph and select their mode of payment.
  • Verify all the details and click on ‘Submit’.

Step 3: Payment of Fees

  • The next step is to pay the application fees.
  • For the online application form, fees can be paid by the online mode of Credit/ Debit card or Net banking only.
  • Enter all the necessary account details on the bank page and render the application fees. Save the receipt of transaction.

Step 4: Confirmation Page

  • After all the above steps have been successfully completed, a confirmation page will be generated.
  • Print it out as it will be required for future correspondence.

Application Fees

The application process of JKLU MET 2018 will be considered complete only after the requisite fees have been paid by students. Fees can be remitted via both the online and offline method. The application fee is INR 1000 regardless of the category the applicant belongs to. Applicants who submit the form by the offline mode can pay the fees by cash or Demand Draft. The DD should be drawn in the favor of ‘JK Lakshmipat University’ payable at Jaipur. Participants must note that the application fees are non refundable and non transferable.

JKLU MET 2018 Admit Card

    JKLU MET 2018 Admit Card will be issued to candidates who have successfully registered for the exam a week prior to the entrance exam. Admit cards can be downloaded from the official website of JK Lakshmipat University. The organizing body will also send the hall tickets by email to the registered email address of students. Aspirants must retain the admit card carefully as it has to be produced at the time of admission and counseling, duly signed by the exam invigilator. Follow these steps to download JKLU MET 2018 Admit Card:

  • Log on to the official website of JK Lakshmipat University.
  • Candidates should then login to their registered accounts by using the username and password provided by the university.
  • Admit card will appear. Download it and print it out 2 colored copies of it.
  • Alternatively, they can check their mail and click on the link provided to access the admit card.

Exam Center

JKLU MET 2018 will be conducted in a number of cities across the country. Participants will have to choose 1 city for the offline entrance test as their preferred exam center. They must also select a center for the GD/ PI rounds. The conducting body of JKLU will allot a center to the applicants and the venue of the center will be mentioned in the admit card.


JKLU MET 2018 Exam Pattern

JKLU MET 2018 will consist of one question paper containing 100 objective questions (MCQs). All questions will be followed by 4 alternative options as answers, out of which the one that seems the most accurate should be chosen. Every correct answer will be awarded +1 mark while negative marking scheme will not be applicable. It is a conventional pen and paper based test and applicants must indicate their responses on an OMR sheet.

JKLU MET 2018 Result

JKLU MET 2018 Results will be in June 2018. The results will be declared on the official website of the university. They will be released in the form of rank lists. Individuals may view their results by accessing their registered accounts. This can be done by following these few easy steps:

JK Lakshmipat University will conduct the GD and PI rounds as per schedule published on the website. A merit list of candidates who qualify the 2 stages of the exam will be put up on the website. Students will be given JKLU MET 2018 Ranks according to due weightage given to marks secured by them in the entrance exam and their academic career. JKLU MET 2018 Counseling

JKLU MET 2018 Counseling Process will start in June 2018. All participants short-listed via the merit list must attend the counseling session for admission to the various courses offered by JK Lakshmipat University.

Students must be present at the counseling session according to the schedule uploaded on the official website. They must be present for the counseling procedure in person along with a parent or guardian. The university will offer seats on the basis of merit, preference of course as chosen by the individual and availability of seats. The counseling process will take place in the following way:

  • The counseling session will be held as per the scheduled time and date at the centers mentioned on the brochure of JKLU.
  • Students must report to the counseling centers with necessary documents that will be verified by the conducting body.
  • After the documents are verified, the process of seat allotment will begin. It will be done based on merit and preference of program as chosen by the participants.
  • If an individual wishes to accept the seat offered, he will have to pay the requisite tuition fees and complete the admission formalities.
