STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
JKCET 2017 Exam Pattern comprises of three sections– Physics & Chemistry as compulsory sections and Mathematics/Biology as optional sections selected as per the chosen stream. The duration of JKCET 2017 is 3 hours`. The duration of Paper A (Physics & Chemistry) is 2 hours while Paper B and Paper C is 1 hour. JKCET 2017 Exam Pattern is based upon the syllabus of 10+2 prescribed by Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination.

Some of the important units in Mathematics are Limit, Continuity & Differentiation, Integral & Differential Equations, Statistics and Probability. Candidates should focus on these units particularly while preparing for JKCET 2017.

The Most sought after section of JKCET, Physics is the most opted attempted section of all. Mechanics & Kinematics collectively hold 1/4th of the of the section. However, the most visited topic in JKCET Physics is Electricity & Magnetism and Optics & Modern Physics. Collectively they hold 60% of the total JKCET Physics. The most important section of JKCET 2017 Chemistry is Organic Chemistry. Candidates are advised to prepare for Chemistry keeping this section at priority. Followed by Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry is the second most asked section in the Chemistry of JKCET 2017. Candidates are advised to work hard on Organic Chemistry and any one of the section to clear the cutoff. Also, a basic and rough idea about the questions from the third section could help the candidates achieve a better rank and hence a better chance to get shortlisted by their desired institute.

With the maximum weightage, Calculus is undoubtly the most important section of the JKCET 2017 Mathematics. The majority of questions in calculus is from the section: Limits & Continuity, DIfferentiation and Integral Calculus. Also, 2D & 3D Geometry is one of the major section in the section apart from calculus. With the right preparation of these two sections, candidates have a hold of 43% of the total paper which is way above the required JKCET 2017 Cutoff.
