JKCET 2017 Registration

JKCET Registration will commence from February 27, 2017. The Registration is to be done on the JKCET Official website. Applicants for JKCET must be J&K Resident and should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board. The candidates appearing in the qualifying Exam are also eligible to apply. Application Fee for JKCET is INR 800 which can be paid either through Online or Offline Mode. 

Information provided during JKCET Registration must be accurate and correct. Any deviation from the actual data will result in cancellation of candidature.

There are two official BOPEE websites, through which a candidate can apply online for JKCET 2017. JKCET 2017 will be held on May 28, 2017

JKCET 2017 Registration Steps

The candidates can visit the JKCET 2017 official website and fill the application form after registering their email Id and contact number. The Application Fee should be paid through Debit card, Credit card and E-challan. The candidate is required to upload his/her scanned photograph and signature/thumb impression. The application forms will be available online from February 27, 2017.

STEP 1 Registration

Before filling the JKCET 2017 application form, an applicant has to register online on the official website. After the process of registration is complete, the candidates receive a unique application number. This unique application number along with Date of Birth of the candidate is required to Login for future processes.

Given below are the steps to register for JKCET 2017:-

  1. The first step is to visit the official website.
  2. Then, the candidate has to click on “Common Entrance Test 2017” link. 
  3. Enter all the required details carefully and then click on Submit button.
  4. On successful completion of the registration process, a unique Application Number is generated.

STEP 2 Payment of Application Fee

After successful Registration and Application Form Filling, Application Fee of INR 800 should be paid. The fee can be paid via either online or offline mode. Online Payment can be done through HDFC Integrated Payment Gateway. Offline Payment of JKCET Application fee can be done through e-challan of J&K Bank or HDFC Bank. 

Steps for the online payment are mentioned below:

  1. Open the official website of the JKCET 2017.
  2. Login by filling the details asked correctly i.e. the Application number and password.
  3. Select the payment mode i.e. online payment
  4. Click on payment gateway i.e. credit card/debit card
  5. Fill the asked credentials correctly i.e. the card number/customer ID
  6. Verify the details and Click on Pay Now.

Steps for the offline payment are mentioned below:

  1. Open the official website of the JKCET 2017.
  2. Login by filling the details asked correctly i.e. Application number and password.
  3. Select the payment mode i.e. offline payment
  4. Download the copy of the e-challan provided on the website.
  5. Fill in the details asked correctly.
  6. Submit the e-challan along with the fee in the designated branch of HDFC Bank of India.

STEP 3 Filling JKCET 2017 Application Form

Registration for JKCET 2017 can be done through online mode only. On successful submission of the Application form, a provisional registration slip is generated. This slip contains all the details of an applicant along with unique application number. It is required for future JKCET 2017 admission process.

General Instructions for filling the Application Form are given below:

Candidates have to fill the following details in the Application Form:-

  1. Name of the Candidate (In block letters)
  2. Father’s Name (In block letters)
  3. Date of Birth (DOB) - You have to enter Date, Month and Year. It must be as per English calendar. The DOB in the application form must be same as mentioned in Matriculation certificate.
  4. Category- The candidates are required to mention the category they belong.

STEP 4 Uploading Images

Scanned images of photo, signature and left thumb impression should beuploaded. Scanned copies of certificates and scanned image of e-challan copy (Required only if you have submitted application fee via offline mode) is also required. The applicants need to follow the below instructions regarding uploading of documents.

  • The background of the photograph must be light in color.
  • A candidate has to upload a scanned image of his or her photograph in JPG/JPEG format.
  • The size of the photograph must be less than 500 KB.
  • The size of Signature/Thumb impression must be less than 200 KB.
  • The photograph of the candidate must be snapped on or after January 01, 2017.
  • A candidate has to hold a placard indicating his or her name and date of taking photograph. Both the details should be clear and readable.
  • Name and Date written on the photograph is not allowed.
  • The name of candidate shown in the photograph must be same as written in the Application Form.
  • A photograph of the candidate must be without Cap or Goggles. However, a photograph of the candidate with Spectacles is allowed.

STEP 5  Final Submission of the JKCET 2017 Application Form

After successful completion of this process, complete details of the candidate is displayed. Candidates should check all the details carefully. to edit or modify any details, click on Modify Button. Following Application Form Filling, the JKCET 2017 Application form is generated. You have to click on Submit Button. Then, click Logout Button to successfully complete the application process.


JKCET 2017 Registration: Mandatory Documents

The list of essential documents required for JKCET 2017 application process is given below:-

  1. Scanned Image of Photograph (JPEG/JPG Format, Less than 500KB)
  2. Scanned Image of Signature (JPEG/JPG Format, Less than 200KB)
  3. Scanned Image of Thumb-Impression (JPEG/JPG Format, Less than 200KB)
  4. Scanned Copy of Mark sheets
  5. Scanned Copy of Permanent Resident Certificate
  6. Scanned Copy of Reserved Category Certificate

The Scanned Copy of Reserved Category Certificate is to be uploaded by candidates who have claimed benefit of any reserved category.The candidates claiming the benefit of the sports have to submit their sports certificates to the sports council. The submission of the certificates is to done within the prescribed date.


JKCET 2017 Application Fee

Applicants have to pay INR 800 for the JKCET 2017 application process. The application fee has to be paid before filling the application form. It is mandatory for all the students to pay the JKCET 2017 application fee and no fee waiver is given to reserved category students.

The payment of JKCET 2017 Application fees can be done either in online or offline mode.

  1. Online mode: You can pay application fees through HDFC Integrated Payment Gateway. A candidate can use either Debit Card or Credit Card to pay the fees online.
  2. Offline Mode: You can deposit the application fees in any branch of J&K Bank or HDFC Bank. For this, a candidate needs to download e-challan of J&K Bank or HDFC Bank.

JKCET 2017 Admit Card

Candidates can download Admit Card online from the Official Website. Admit Card is a mandatory document to be presented at the time of the exam. Candidates are advised to check the details mentioned on the JKCET Admit Card. The details must be similar to the information provided during JKCET 2017 Registration.
