JIPMER 2017 is scheduled for the candidates seeking admission in medical courses of JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Post-graduate Medical Education and Research). There are a total number of 200 seats in JIPMER. The Entrance exam will be conducted on June 4, 2017. It is a computer based test and will be conducted in 2 shifts on the same day.

JIPMER 2017 Application Form
JIPMER 2017 registration process will start from March 27, 2017 on the official website. Candidates have to register themselves by filling the credentials like name, date of birth and email id. Before filling the application form candidates must keep a scanned photograph and signature ready in required format.

How to Apply for JIPMER 2017?
Candidates firstly have to register themselves online and then have to fill the application form with the details ask. After filling the credentials candidates have to upload scanned images of signature and photograph followed by the application fee payment. The fee once paid will not be refund.
Given below is the details candidates have to fill in application form such as size and format of photograph and signature:
- Recent colored photograph with light background
- Photograph must be taken on or after January 31, 2017
- The photograph must be taken with placard (indicating candidates name and date)
- The photograph size must be between 20 kb to 200 kb and dimension should be 30mm in width and 45 mm in height. Scanned image must be in jpg format.
- The size of signature must be between 20 kb to 200 kb and dimension should be 80 mm in width and 35mm in height. Scanned image must be in jpg format.
JIPMER 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Before filling the application form candidates should check the eligibility criteria. If the candidate fill the application form and doesn’t fulfill the eligibility criteria then the form would be rejected. Given below is the eligibility criteria for the admission in medical college.
Nationality: The Candidate should be an Indian citizen or Overseas Citizen of India.
Age Limit: The candidate must have completed the age of 17 years before or on December 31, 2017.
Educational Qualification: A candidate who has either passed or is appearing in the 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognized board of education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as the main subjects is eligible. General category candidates have to score 50% (OPH 45%) to apply for JIPMER. For reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) candidates need to have the minimum percentage of 40%.

Candidates can download the Admit card from May 22, 2017. Candidates should download the Admit Card and make 2-3 copies for future purposes. No change in the Admit Card s allowed.

JIPMER 2017 Exam Centres
The exam centres are proposed in 75 cities across India. The allotment of city will be on the basis of first cum first serve. Candidates can give only 3 preferences in the examination form.
