JEECUP is state level polytechnic examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (UPBTC). In 2018, the JEECUP will be conducted in the month of April.
JEECUP examination is conducted for those students who want to get admission in various programmes such as Polytechnic Diploma, PG Diploma and post diploma in the areas of Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Management.
- JEECUP examination is comprised of Multiple Choice questions.
- The questions in the paper are asked from the subjects like Maths, Physics and Biology.
- JEECUP examination is conducted through offline mode only i.e. it is a Pen paper based exam.
- It will be asked in English and Hindi languages.
- While attempting the paper, students need to be very careful because, for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

JEECUP 2018 Exam Dates
Those students who want to apply for JEECUP entrance examination can check important dates first. The dates will be announced on the official website.

JEECUP 2018 Eligibility
- Students must check their eligibility criteria before register for the entrance exam.
- There is no upper age limit
- The minimum age limit for JEECUP 2018 is 14 years.

JEECUP 2018 Application form
The application form for JEECUP will be released through online mode only. It will be released on the official website. All the eligible candidates have to fill the online application form. The forms will be released in the second week of December 2017. They will not be sent to the candidates through any other mode.
Before the Online Registration candidates have to be ready with scanned copy of passport size photo, a scanned copy of Signature and a scanned copy of Thumb impression.
By following the below steps students are able to fill the application form:

- Click on the link “Apply for UPJEE Polytechnic 2018”
- Students have to register for the Online Registration Application form
- Now students have to select the form type i.e. from Joint Entrance Examination for Group A or Joint Entrance Examination for Group B to K.
- After successful registration, again login to the application form
- Students need to fill all the details in the online application form
- Now upload the Photo, Signature and Thumb Impression
- Now make the application fee payment through either Online or Offline modes
- Students are advised to download and take the printout of the filled in application form for their future use
- Candidates can submit only one application form per student whereas multiple application forms lead to rejection.
Candidates have to pay Rs.300/- (Rs.200 for Reserved categories). Candidates can pay fee by net banking/credit card/debit card/e-challan. Candidates paying through e-challan must submit the fee at any branch of State Bank of India.
JEECUP 2018 Admit Card
Students can get the Admit card through online process only. Admit card will be released in the second week of April 2018. It is mandatory for the students to bring the admit card at the examination center. Candidates are not permitted to sit without admit card.
Students are advised to check all the details on the admit card. If the candidates found any mistake in the admit card they have to inform the examination authority. The admit card will not be sent through the post.

- On the website homepage, click on the Download admit card link of desired course group
- Students will be redirected to another page
- Enter the details like Application form, Application No, Password, and Security Pin
- Click on the Sign in Button
After clicking on the button, the admit card will be displayed on the screen. Students can download the card for their future use. The admit card will have the details related to students name, roll number, exam venue, exam date and timing etc.
JEECUP 2018 Exam Center
At the time of filling online application form, students have a choice to select the exam center of their choice. Exam center once allotted cannot be changed later. Students can check the name and venue of the exam center at the time of downloading admit card:

JEECUP 2018 Exam Pattern
JEECUP 2018 examination is conducted through offline mode only i.e. it is a Pen Paper based exam. The paper is comprised of multiple choice questions. Students should check the question booklet carefully. In the case of any discrepancy, the candidates should report the invigilator immediately.
- The time duration to complete the exam is 3 hours.
- The examination will be conducted in two sessions i.e. 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
- The paper will be asked in Hindi and English language
- For every correct answer, students will be awarded by 4 marks
- For every wrong attempt, one mark will be deducted
- OMR sheet will be clean and rough work will be done on question booklet
- A Total number of objective type questions asked in the paper is 100.

JEECUP 2018 Syllabus
For better performance in the entrance examination, it is mandatory to cover every syllabus without skipping any topic. The paper consist questions from the subjects namely Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each topic comes in the examination is very important.

|Group C||Group C syllabus consists of three sections i.e. Hindi and English Comprehension, Reasoning and Intelligence and General Awareness. It also includes the questions from 10th class|
|Group D||It is comprised of 12th class syllabus and will consist of four sections named Hindi and English, Comprehension, Reasoning and Intelligence, Numerical Ability and General Awareness|
|Group E||The syllabus of this group includes the two sections such as Physics and Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics. Applicants have to do the preparation from the 10+2 syllabus.|
|Group F||The syllabus will consist of B.Sc academics. It includes the sections like Physics, Biology and Botany.|
|Group G||Its syllabus is same as Graduation and includes the sections like English Comprehension, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, General Intelligence and General Awareness|
|Group H||This group syllabus is divided into five sections such as Reasoning and Logical Discussion, Numerical Ability and Scientific Aptitude, English and General Knowledge. Intermediate questions will also be asked|
|Group I||It includes 10+2 UP board syllabus. It includes two sections namely Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics|
|Group J||This group syllabus includes diploma academic and also includes five sections i.e. English Comprehension, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, General Intelligence and General Awareness|
|Group K||Applicants can prepare from class 10th and 12th syllabus. The syllabus is divided into two sections Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics while another section is Engineering|
JEECUP 2018 Result
JEECUP result has been announced by the Uttar Pradesh Board of the Technical Education. Students can check their result through online mode only. No other mode is applicable to check the result.
The result will be released in the third week of May 2018. To check the result, students need to enter their roll number. Candidates are suggested to take the printout of the result for their future reference. No score card/ rank card will be sent through the post.
Following steps help students to check the JEECUP 2018 result:
- Go to the official website of JEECUP
- On the website homepage, click on the JEECUP Examination Result 2018 tab
- Students will be redirected to another page
- Enter the personal details like Roll Number and Date of Birth
- Click on the Submit button
After clicking on the button, the result will be displayed on the screen. Students can check their result along with the Answer key in the official portal. A few days, after the declaration of the result, the rank list will also be published on the official site.
Candidates can check the answer key by entering Roll Number and Question Booklet Number. With the help of the answer key, candidates can calculate their marks and compare with the final result.
JEECUP 2018 Cut Off
After the declaration of the result, the cut-off will be released. The Cut-off is the minimum marks obtained by the candidate in order to proceed for further rounds of the admission process.
The cut-off marks will be calculated on the basis of some factors which are as below:
- Total number of candidates appeared in the exam
- Difficulty level of the paper
- Previous year cut-off marks

JEECUP 2018 Counselling
According to the student’s performance in the JEECUP 2018 entrance exam, they will be called for counselling. Students can participate in JEECUP counselling in the month of May or June 2018. The counselling will be organized through online mode only.
During counselling process candidates have to fill their college and courses preference. Students will get seat according to their rank and seat availability in respective college.
