JEECE 2018 Result

JEECE 2018 Result will be declared in the last week of May 2018. The result is announced by JCECE Board. Candidates can view the result on the official website, They are required to enter roll number and course opted for to check JEECE 2018 Result. The result is declared in the form of merit list containing the list of qualified candidates along with their ranks. On the basis of rank secured in JEECE 2018, students will be invited for counselling.

Candidates can view the answer key of JCECE 2018 on the official website soon after the declaration of result. Candidates should download the JCEECE Rank Card 2018 obtained for further use. It will be required during JEECE 2018 Counselling Procedure.

The counselling procedure will be conducted in two stages: 1st Round of Counselling and 2nd Round of Counselling. A counselling fee of INR 650 (general category) and INR 400 (SC/ST/Female categories) must be paid to be able to appear for the process.

Important Dates for JEECE 2018 Result

Applicants are requested to be updated about the dates of JEECE 2018 so that they are able to apply for the same on time. The dates of online application, admit card, result declaration and counselling are given below:

How to Check JEECE 2018 Result?

The board will conduct JEECE 2018, evaluate the answer sheets and declare the result by 4h week of May and the same will be uploaded on the board’s official website. Thereafter candidates can download the result.

Candidates have to check JEECE Result 2018 on the official website. No candidate shall receive their rank card via post or e-mail.

 Here are the steps to check JEECE Results:

  1. Open JEECE official site i.e.,
  2. Go to JEECE Results Online Section
  3. Select the Exam you have applied for
  4. Select the group you wish to check for & enter your Roll Number
  5. Click on “Submit” button.
  6. Download JEECE Score Card 2018.

Candidates are suggested to preserve extra copies of the score card for further reference till the admission process is over.

Rules for re-checking / re-evaluation of Answer sheets:

The machine- gradable answer sheets are evaluated with great care and are repeatedly scrutinized. There is no provision for re-checking / re-evaluation of Answer sheets. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

Details on JEECE Score Card 2018

JEECE Result 2018 contains the Ranks & Names of all the qualified candidates in the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Exam 2018.

Generally, the officials will release the rank cards for the qualified candidates within 10 days after the declaration of the JCECE Results 2018. Aspirants can download the rank card through online mode. The rank card will not be send through post.

Candidates who have reached the qualifying marks in the exam are eligible to attend the counselling process. The merit list is prepared by the authorities based on the marks obtained by Candidates in Jharkhand Common Entrance Competitive Exam 2018.

JEECE 2018 Answer Key

JEECE Board will display JEECE Answer Key 2018 on their official website. Candidates can check their responses against the uploaded answer key.

One mark will be awarded for every correct response while 0.25 marks will be deducted for incorrect responses. The answer key is expected to be uploaded on the website before the declaration of result.

Applicants are informed that answer key is evaluated with extreme care. Therefore, rechecking of answer sheet will not be considered. Applicants cannot apply for rechecking of the answer sheet.

JEECE 2018 Merit List

JEECE Result 2018 is declared in the form of merit list containing the list of qualified candidates along with their ranks.  On the basis of rank secured in JEECE 2018 examination, students are invited for counselling.

Candidate needs to be aware about the process of merit list preparation. Detailed information about preparation of merit list is given below for reference:
1. The board will prepare combined merit list as well as category-wise merit list (wherever applicable) of the appeared candidates JEECE 2018. A list of appeared candidates in order of merit based on the score obtained in the examination will be prepared by the board and used for the purpose of allotment of seats.

2. In case of two or more than two candidates obtaining equal marks in JEECE 2018, the inter-se-merit of such candidates shall be determined in order of preference as follows:

  1. Candidates obtaining higher marks in Mathematics in the examination.
  2. Candidates obtaining higher marks in Physics.
  3. Candidates older in age
  4. As per English alphabetical order of First Name

JEECE 2018 Cut Off

JCECE Cut Off 2018 is the minimum mark that a candidate must secure in Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam in order to be eligible for admission. Only those candidates will be considered by authorities whose score reaches the minimum qualifying mark for admission. Qualified applicants will get admission in various Under Graduate Engineering Courses & many others in different Institutes & Colleges located in Jharkhand State. JEECE 2018 Counselling

Candidates will be called for the counselling round on the basis of rank secured by them in entrance exam. The counselling will be conducted in two rounds. Candidates are required to pay the counselling fee to take part in counselling. At the time of document verification, candidates are required to produce their original certificates. If a candidate fails to produce the original documents, then his/her admission will be cancelled.
Counselling would be conducted by the board. Qualified candidates are advised to read the counselling information guidelines carefully.

Counselling will be conducted in 2 rounds. The second round is optional. It will be conducted only if seats remain vacant.

1st Round of Counselling:

Successful candidates will be called for counselling as per Merit rank. Information regarding date of counselling, time and place will be given through leading newspapers of Jharkhand State as well as Board’s website. During counselling, candidate is allowed to choose Course/Stream and Institute on Merit-Cum-Choice basis, only after scrutiny of all the required original certificates/documents and satisfying his/her identity.

2nd Round of Counselling:

If seats remain vacant even after admission of recommended candidates during the first round of counselling, second round of counselling will be conducted to fill the vacant seats. In this counselling round, Candidates who have been admitted through 1st Round of Counselling are also eligible to participate if they wish to change their course/stream and institute. Other procedure will remain same as mentioned above.

JEECE 2018 Counselling Fee

Qualified candidates are required to pay counselling fee for attending the same. Successful candidates of all categories who have been called for counselling will have to submit challan / IPO to participate in the counselling process.

Counselling fees vary for different categories. The same is mentioned below in table for all the categories:

It is essential for successful candidates to produce online Admit card at the time of counselling.

List of Documents to be Produced During Counselling:

Candidates must produce original and self-attested photo copies of the following documents during counselling:

  1. Mark sheet of 10th and 12th
  2. Local resident certificate issued by SDO.
  3. Caste certificate issued by SDO.
  4. Income certificate issued by SDO.
  5. One passport size photograph
  6. Admit card of JEECE 2018 exam.

If any successful candidate does not appear in counselling or does not produce all required documents on time than candidature of such successful candidate will be considered rejected automatically.
