JEECE 2018 Application Form

JEECE (Joint Engineering Entrance Common Exam) application form can be filled in the online or offline mode. In order to fill the application form in the offline mode, one can collect the form from the nearest prescribed post office. JEECE 2018 form can be filled up to the 1st week of May 2018. The application form has to be accompanied by the payment of the application fee.

Application fee of INR 900 has to be paid by the candidates of general category/BC-1/BC-2. Female candidates and SC/ST candidates have to pay an application fee of INR 450. The fee can be paid in online mode through credit/debit card. In offline mode, the fee can be paid through DD (Demand Draft) written in favour of JEECE board Jharkhand.

JEECE 2018 Application Form completed in offline mode must contain the attached DD while posting to the official address. The DD can be drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of JEECE Board. Application form filled in offline mode will not be accepted without the DD. 

Candidates must be clear about the JEECE 2018 Eligibility Criteria defined on age, nationality, educational qualification and pass percentage in qualifying examination. In order to appear for the JEECE exam applicant must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 11 and class 12.

The minimum passing percentage in qualifying examination for class 12 applicants is 45% and for reserved category candidates it is 40%. There will be a physical fitness test conducted for all candidates who clear the exam at the university campus.

Information once filled cannot be corrected or edited after hitting the final submit button. If found that the information furnished is wrong or incorrect, such application would be cancelled. JCECEB portal does not allow for dual registration. Candidate must be careful while filling the application form.

JEECE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Any candidate of Indian origin can apply for the exam. Candidate must have filled the application form in the online or offline mode in order to appear for the exam. Following details must be read carefully before filling the form:

  • Nationality: All Indian nationals can apply for the exam. The citizenship certificate is proved through the education certificate issued at the time of counselling. Candidates of the state are getting 85% seats and those outside are getting 15% seats through counselling.
  • Domicile: Domicile certificate is a legal document issued by the state government agencies, which will be used as the basis of verification of nativity. The name of the candidate must be written on the certificate.
  • Age limit: As there is no upper age limit or lower age limit defined for enrolling in the JEECE 2018 exam the minimum qualification required is that the candidate must have cleared class 12 examinations.
  • Qualifying examinations: Class 12 examinations must have been cleared with 45% marks. Candidate must have studied physics, chemistry and mathematics as main subjects. Reserved category candidates have 5% relaxation in the qualifying percentage. Education must be completed through regular schooling.
  • Subjects: Candidate must have studied physics and mathematics as main subjects in class 12th.  The third subject can be Biotechnology/Chemistry/Biology/Technical optional or any vocational subject.
  • Minimum percentage: A minimum of 45% marks must be obtained in class 12 examinations and without any backlogs. Candidates of reserved categories need only 40% marks in qualifying examination.

How to Fill JEECE Application Form 2018?

JEECE 2018 Application Form can be filled in 3 simple steps. First, candidates need to register themselves and then they are required to fill the application form and upload images. The last step is the payment of the application fee.

The steps are briefly explained below:

Step 1: JEECE Registration Process

  • Open the official website of JECEB.
  • Search for the tab “Apply for JEECED 2018”.
  • Choose the subject group PCM/PCB/PCMB and sign the declaration for examination.
  • Submit the details of name, gender, category, email id, etc.

Step 2: JEECE Application Form Filling

  • Log in to the system with ID and fill the application form completely.
  • Upload the scanned copy of the required documents. (photograph and signature within the specifications defined)

  • Click on the “submit” button.

Step 3: Payment of Application Fee

  • Once the photograph has been uploaded in the online mode, payment of application fee has to be done through credit/debit card.
  • The payment gateway will open when you click on “payment of application fee”.
  • Put in the details of the credit/debit card or net banking account and enter the amount you are entitled to pay against the application form.
  • Click on the final submit button and do not refresh the page till the payment is done successfully.
  • Note down the transaction ID details after the payment has been done successfully.

Payment of application fee in the offline mode

In offline mode, payment can be done through Demand Draft. DD must be obtained from any nationalized bank. Put in the details of the money you need to pay to JCECE Jharkhand. Give the amount of money to the bank and the bank will make a draft on your behalf. Fill in the details of name, age, mobile number and email id on the back side of the draft. Attach it with the application form completely filled, put it in an envelope and send it to the official address. 

Special instructions with the JEECE application fee: 

  • The service charge for the transaction is not included in the amount displayed. Candidates have to bear the extra charges.
  • Fee once paid is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Once the application fee has been paid, candidate must download the payment receipt.

Details on the Application Form

When working with the JEECE application form, candidate must keep the following set of details handy:

How to Retrieve the Password or Registration Number?

In case of loss of password, a candidate must submit the details of the email id on the official website login page. Following this, select the option “forgot password”. The details of the password will be mailed on the registered email id.

In the case of loss of registration, number candidate has to submit the details of the email id on the login page. Select the option “forgot registration number”. The details of the registration number will be emailed to the candidate.

JEECE Form Correction

There is no provision of form correction once the “final submit” button has been clicked by the candidate. Candidate must read all the details carefully and then only hit the submit button. Also, JCECEB has not given any period for correction of forms once submitted.

There is no point in mailing the details or sending a request for correction of details as such requests will not be entertained. If the information furnished by the candidate is found incorrect at any later stage, the form will be cancelled. Candidate cannot fill duplicate forms.
