JEE Advanced 2017 Rank List

  • Candidates who appear in both Paper 1 and 2 will be considered while preparing JEE Advanced Rank List 2017.
  • Candidates who score the minimum prescribed marks in each subject and as well as the aggregate will be included in the rank list. The minimum prescribed mark varies with the category.
  • Marks scored in all subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) will be calculated on the basis of total marks scored in Paper 1 and Paper 2. For example- Total Physics Marks = Marks scored in Physics (Paper 1 + Paper 2).
  • If any two or more candidates score the same marks in JEE Advanced 2017, then tie-breaker method will be used for ranking. The rank will be maintained on the higher marks scored in Mathematics section. If the same rank still persists, higher marks scored in Physics section will be preferred. If still the rank doesn’t change, then the same rank will be awarded to the candidates.
  • Rank Lists for preparatory courses in JEE Advanced 2017 will be prepared separately for different categories (SC/ ST/ PwD), as defined as per the courses.
