NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
ISI Admission Test (Indian Statistical Institute Admission Test) is conducted for admissions to various Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate courses to ISI Kolkata. ISI Admission Test process is scheduled to begin in the second week of February, 2017. The last date to fill the ISI Application Form is in the third week of March, 2017.
ISI Admission Test is to be conducted in the second week of May, 2017. Application Fee of ISI Application Form for general category candidates is INR 600 whereas INR 300 must be paid by the candidates belonging to reserved categories. Candidates can opt for Online as well as offline payment mode to pay the ISI Application fee. To fill the ISI 2017 Application form candidate will have to visit the official website of ISI.

Indian Statistical Institute, the conducting authority of ISI Admission Test 2017 will begin the application procedure for candidates to seek admission in various UG and PG courses in the month of February, 2017. Candidates who wish to apply must first gratify to the eligibility criteria and then proceed.
The ISI Entrance Exam will be conducted in the second week of May, 2017. Following is the schedule that will be followed by ISI Admission Test 2017:

|Library and Information Science||Good academic record with first or high second class in MS (LIS) awarded by ISI or Associate ship in Documentation and Information Science of ISI or NISCAIR/INSDOC or its equivalent degree (such as Master's degree in Library and Information Science from any University) with at least 55% marks. |Development Studies||A good academic record with Master's or M Phil degree in Development Studies, Sociology, Economics, Development Economics, Agricultural Economics or any equivalent degree (Offered at Bengaluru).|
ISI Application Process involves four stages:
Candidates who wish to seek admission to any of the Undergraduate or Postgraduate courses offered by ISI Kolkata, must visit www.isical.ac.in.
To apply online for ISI Admission Test 2017, candidate must have access to:

|Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification: university/board name, name of degree, subjects, marks/CGPA obtained|

For ISI Admission Test 2017, Application Fee as announced by the Institute is INR 600 (for General Category candidates) and INR 300 (for candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC and PwD category). Application fee can be made through Online and Offline Mode. If candidate opts for Online Payment mode, he/she can pay via Net Banking, Debit Card/Credit Card. For Offline payment of ISI Admission fee, a challan will be generated for cash payment at SBI Branch.
For PG Diploma in Statistical Methods and Analytics Programme, application form will be available at ISI North East Centre either in person or by post. Complete ISI Application Form shall be sent to The Head, Admissions 2016, Indian Statistical Institute, North-East Centre, Tezpur University Campus, Tezpur, Assam 784028.
Candidate will be asked to choose from the options of whether to pay ISI Application Fee through Online or Offline mode. By choosing to pay online, candidate will have to use either Credit Card/Debit Card or Net Banking. Candidate will have to enter details such as Name, ATM pin, etc.
For payment of application fee through Offline mode, a challan will be generated which will be used for cash payment. The procedure will take at least two working days from the date of completion of application at the ISI Admission Portal. The SBI will collect appropriate additional bank charges on top of the application fee. Candidate must check the admission status at the ISI Admission Portal for fee verification.

ISI Admission Test Admit Card will be made available on the official website after first week of April, 2017. The admit card contains registration number of the candidate along with the details such as name, venue of examination, timings, category, etc. Candidates have to save and take a print out of the admit card after reviewing all the details. ISI Admission Test admit card must be carried to the test venue and must be kept secure for further reference.
